- Name: Mamooth. (also known as Moomooths)
- Designation: Non-sentient.
- Homeworld: Aurum.
- Language: All bovine noises.
- Average Lifespan: 40 years.
- Estimated Population: Planetary. (Aurum originally, introduced to Ceto)
- Description: Mamooths are big, cow-like creatures with a love for grazing and licking rocks. The most notable characteristic of a Mamooth are its metallic horns and hooves, its impressive size and its docile nature.

- Breathes: Type I.
- Average height of adults: Ranging from 2.5 to 4 meters.
- Average length of adults: Ranging from 3 to 5 meters.
- Skin color: Pinkish.
- Hair color: Whites, Browns, Blacks, Reds, Greys, Violets and Yellows. Most often, a Mamooth will display a combination of two or more colors. Solid coated Mamooths are extremely rare.
- Distinctions: These animals have the general biology of a typical herbivore, only with a much larger size and a unique distinction: anabolism of minerals. Mamooths have internal organs and special glands that allow them to digest and process immense amounts of minerals. They have the natural instinct of looking for sources containing metals and consuming them.
However, the element out of which the horns and hooves are grown cannot be changed, so they are naturally prone to consume the metals of greatest abundance, since they will need to keep on finding the same substance in order to keep their precious adornments in good condition.
- Races: N/a.
- Strengths:
Metallic Horns and Hooves: The horns and hooves of a Mamooth are composed of the metal they most often consume. Even if made out of the weaker ones, they are often more tougher and sharper than the horns/hooves of other animals with similar characteristics.
Herding animals: The strength of big groups, Mamooths live in large herds and because of it and their size, are rarely bothered by other animals.
- Weaknesses:
Non-aggressive: A Mamooth will never opt for confrontation unless absolutely left out of options. This gentle giants will run away if any threat is looming around.
Thick Hide, not armor: Yes, Mamooths are incredibly sturdy and can take big blows. However, it is still just thick hide and there is only so much damage one can take before going down.
Cannot lay down on their sides: Mamooths must rest either standing up or tidily nestled atop their legs. If a Mamooth were to lay fully on it side for a relatively long period of time, it is in risk of crushing its lungs with its own weight and dying of asphyxia (happens often with animals which are ill).

- Diet: Mainly herbivores. Mamooth will occasionally eat fruits and nuts. They also require a high mineral intake, which they obtain by looking for and licking any material containing metals (most notably, rocks).
- Communication: Verbal only.
- Technology level: N/a.
- Religion/Beliefs: N/a.
- General behavior: Mamooths are extremely peaceful beings whom avoid trouble and danger at all costs. Naturally friendly, docile and sturdy, their large size is the only thing keeping predators from pushing them into extinction since it is extremely rare to see a Mamooth fight back unless it is defending its young. If raised from a young age, they can grow very attached to their owner and, being social, herding animals, will follow the 'members of their herd' around. Mamooths mate for life and breed only twice or thrice during their lifetime.

Mamooths are animals native to Aurum who have walked its surface since ages long past. Historical recordings of the animals can be found, mostly in the form of artistical representations and the rare research based around the species. It is known that at some point during history, raising Mamooths was a hobby among the most wealthy in Aurum, providing luxurious or rare ores for the cows to consume and thus grow horns and hooves of the very same material.
Nowadays, the Mamooths keep on inhabiting Aurum and have been recently introduced into the planet Ceto, in which they are prospering too.
