Made a decade along side its corresponding suit of battle armor, this large visor based helmet was designed to allow high levels of perception, HUD use and to aid in channeling Force Abilities. The silver like material was made from a mixture of thin Durasteel and Duraplast, combining its durability with the light weight properties of the latter. Whilst this helmet hadn't seen any combat action, it was heavily tested to make sure that many forms of melee weapons, slugthrowers and even kinetic based weaponry would deflect from its surface. This proved to also deny blasters a high level of damage. The downsides to such an early design, it was made without the foresight of lightsaber combat in mind, with any strike to its glass or metal surface being able to cut through, thus making the high tech HUD useless.
Shortly after Malka's abandonment on a desolate rock like moon in the Unknown Region, the helmet and armor were sealed away, no Jedi willing to touch a suit of armor believed to be worn or worked on by a genetic abomination.
