Malachor Rebellion?

When I saw that TRE was going minor I initially planned to more or less sit the following chaos out, defend Malachor if needed and then continue afterwards like nothing ever happened.

Now with the return of rebellions I realized what an opportunity opens up here. ICly Abyss Minor Faction The Tainted Chorus has controlled Malachor for quite a while now, so why not go the extra mile and start a rebellion. First of I'm not 100% certain if taking the Korriban Hex is the best of ideas, as is going Major through this Rebellion, but that are things I'm willing to wait to say until (if) the rebellion happens.

Any Criminal or Darksider looking for a shot at rebelling against TRE remnants, maybe taking the hex and building a small faction into something more with me, please tag me here so I can see if this even has a chance of happening.

TRE isn't being recalled by staff, it's going minor voluntarily.

I would check with Staff to see if this is even possible first given the rules on Rebellions state Dominion or Recalled Major Faction.

If it is, enjoy :)

[member="Darth Abyss"] If you think your story requires securing Malachor's airspace... I may be joining.

However, I have a few questions as to what changes in the citizenry's freedoms there will be once the Caldera falls under the Tainted Chorus' control.

You also need to take into account that the 'rules' are only suggestions, as they are in the 'Suggestions' forum. Therefore they are not official rules yet, meaning Rebellions are still prohibited.

From the Rebellion rules (Thank you for linking them, [member="Vrak Nashar"] )

4. If a Major Faction requests to be removed from the map they are counted as a recalled Major Faction (not a Minor Faction) until the next Map Update.

Now if I interpreted this correctly: When The Resurgent Empire chose to go minor, they also requested to be taken off the map. Meaning that, until the next Map Update, TRE is counted as a recalled Major Faction and is therefore subject to Rebellion.
