Exterior. First thing to note about the diner is the fact that it is an old fueling station. The standalone building still features the fuel pumps in the front, dating back to before the Four Hundred Years Darkness. A few, cheap plastene tables and chairs dot the exterior, for any diners who with to consume their food on the premises.

Interior. The deli counter is in the back, behind which the kitchen is partitioned off from the restaurant. A few short rows of shelves hold Dathomiri foodstuff, supplements, accessories or paraphernalia for sale. If you're looking for some Blak Blak gum or Nightsister incense, this is the place to go in Golbah City. The deli case holds a variety of cuts of meat, with sandwiches prepared according to Nightbrother custom; the mustard is spicy and the peppers will send your tongue over to the Dark Side if you're not careful. The bread is made fresh daily and has become a hot selling item in its own right.

Low. The only thing that Mak's Diner has in its favor is the fact that the vast majority of its clientele are members of the Knights Obsidian, owing to the fact that the diner caters to the cultural icons and identity of the Mandragora. There are no droids here. The staff are all Nightbrothers; typically from Dathomir, Ryloth, or Talay. The diner is in the Sprawl, where crime is heaviest, so there is an old blaster rifle under the counter. But a would-be robber probably has more to worry about from the other customers than from the staff.

Mak's Diner is a Nightbrother owned and operated deli and convenience store on Geonosis. Originally a fueling station in the old industrial sector, today the diner is part of the so-called Sprawl that exists in the fringe space between the Confederate capital and the Geonosian wastelands.

The arrival of the Mandragora to Golbah City brought with them the trappings of Dathomiri culture. Key to which was the culture of the Nightbrothers. Mak's Diner is the oasis of home for the Mandragora in Golbah City, a taste of home and a temporary escape from modern civilization. There are no servitor droids here. The staff are all entirely Dathomiri. Those Nightbrothers from Talay typically come in order to make money, which is then sent back to family in Shaol'mara Village.

Herbs and plants used in Dathomiri rituals are a stable of the store's shelves, along with natural woods for use in talisman preparation. Incense and other substances, along with foodstuff and traditional candies are all popular items. A small selection of traditional Nightbrother clothing can also be found here, such as sarongs and krama scarves.

The deli prepares sandwiches according to Dathomiri custom, where food was prepared to grab-and-go in order to suit the Nightbrother away in the forests on the hunt or the Nightsister away to her lair in her studies. Along with the fresh made bread, the diner is popular for its burgers. The Bik Mak, in particular, is a double stack, double bacon, double cheese, two hand sandwich that has toppled many a warrior. The sandwiches are served with a choice of sides, including a traditional Dathomiri slaw or nerf rinds. More offworlder fare can also be found in the form of fries, rings, or tots.
