DESCRIPTION
As Madrugar technology became more sophisticated and compact, the need for a smaller and more practical fighter was perceived. As before, the government asked the Builder caste to produce a new design, and then disseminated it throughout the manufactories of the system. Using fewer weapons and a more versatile folding radiator panel arrangement, the ship was more compact and could be carried aboard larger warships if needed. It had a more sophisticated hyperdrive, allowing coverage over a wider area. And it had shields capable of absorbing at least one enemy hit before fizzling out. The Wrath was a solid improvement to Madrugar fighter technology, only recently superceded by the Vector fighter. As more and more Wraths get replaced in the Madrugar inventory, a number of them have been sold on the secondary market.
