The third generation Madrugar fighter borrows a great deal from the designs of Incom, and represents a major effort by the Madrugar government to modernize its forces as the major powers of the galaxy continue to near the Madrugar system. The new fighter has cooling panels integrated with the wings, and has turret systems that enable the fighter to engage targets at unorthodox angles. A two-seat configuration allows each fighter to double as a trainer for new pilots. The hyperdrive of the fighter is improved over the last generation, but the shielding system remains sub-par, with the pilots expected to use the craft's speed and agility to avoid threats while engaging them.
The Vector is just now entering production, replacing the older Wrath in service. As it is the state of the art military fighter of the Madrugar government, it is not yet available on the secondary market.
