- RMD-B11 Feyr Droid Brain: The RMD-B11 Feyr Droid Brain is a central part of the Atin models success. This brain with its adaptable nature allows for the Atin to switch between jobs without causing delays for reprogramming meaning a workforce of Atin units can be reassigned at a moments notice making them a highly efficient work force.
- Adaptable: From simple cargo loading to minor repairs the adaptable droid brain and programming of the Atin allow it to fill roles all across a workforce with ease.
- Strength: Atins are capable of lifting loads in excess of three times their own weight using the powerful hydraulic pistons installed in their manipulator arms and legs.
- Limited Scope: While highly adaptable at manual labor tasks and some technical tasks the Atin units are not designed nor programmed for roles outside of that scope. Attempting to get the Atin to perform roles in combat or fly a ship will like end in the destruction of the unit and potentially the death of the owner.
- Battery Powered: The power pack on an Atin unit lasts for ten standard hours before needing a recharge. This limited time frame of use before recharge means Bralor Hammerworks recommends purchasing two shifts worth of units to compensate for the recharge time.
DESCRIPTION
The Atin units are Araia Bralors babies she built the first unit in her mother’s small personal forge on Kestri at the age of ten originally the droid was used mostly for household labor but as Araia began to develop her technical skills further the droid saw much more use in the forge with her. Seeing the potential that her adaptable original unit had she built more selling a few here and there as the droid became more and more popular she expanded her operation with the droids building more models of both themselves and new products as Araia created them. At their core Atin units are labor droids designed to be set to a task and left to it with routine maintenance and updates. The droids possess technical skills adequate enough to assemble a star ship from pre-programmed schematics and manual dexterity enough to assemble fine electronics. They can act as cargo moving droids to some extent; the heaviest cargo is well beyond their scope. They can even act as janitorial droids though it is advised by the manufacturer to keep them out of the kitchen as cooking is well outside their programming range and in fact violates their warranty as Bralor Hammerwork maintains that they are not responsible for any food poisoning cases caused by misuse of Atin units.
