PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION AND INVENTORY
Born of the sea and reforged by the Dark Queen, Lyras Valein is an image of elegance weaponized. Her skin bears the faint opalescent sheen of Manaan's depths, smooth as glass and cool as moonlight. Long crimson hair flows like liquid fire, wrapping her in ribbons of motion that echo the flicker of coral flame. Her eyes are blood-red, luminous and pupil-less, the gaze of a predator who learned charm before violence.
The faint gills that trace her neck pulse gently with each breath. When submerged, her body elongates into a lithe siren's tail of red-black fins tipped with blade-like spurs; on land, that same structure refines into humanoid grace, her steps fluid and deliberate. Her armor-skin is a living weave of dark synth-silk and carapace, molded for command yet sensual in contour.
Her voice—low, melodic, commanding—carries the echo of both officer's authority and siren's song.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Lyras is calm, eloquent, and unnervingly sure of herself—her composure a lesson from both the officer's bridge and Virelia's throne room. Discipline runs deep, but beneath it lies hunger: a need to test how far influence can reach before it becomes domination.
She believes control is compassion perfected, that leadership and seduction stem from the same root—understanding desire and shaping it. Her military past instilled strategic precision; Virelia's tutelage taught her to make obedience pleasurable.
Though she serves the Dark Court without hesitation, a small, human fragment of her still yearns for the structured idealism of her youth on Manaan. Simply an echo she drowns beneath purpose.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES
• Siren's Command:
Combines her innate vocal enthrallment with the discipline of a trained officer, allowing her to coordinate troops with supernatural unity or disorient enemy morale through broadcast resonance.
• Tactical Prodigy:
Educated in both planetary and orbital naval warfare; capable of reading tactical "currents" like water flows, predicting fleet maneuvers or troop behavior with uncanny accuracy.
• Empathic Awareness:
Can sense emotional tension in a room or a crew; an invaluable asset for command, diplomacy, or interrogation.
• Amphibious Adaptability:
Fully operational on land, sea, or vacuum environments (with proper gear); exceptional endurance underwater.
• Chemical Vulnerability:
Her altered biology processes toxins and intoxicants poorly; even minor exposure can render her dizzy or incapacitated.
• Gill Dependency:
Her throat gills require open airflow; sealed armor or heavy smoke can suffocate her quickly.
• Identity Dissonance:
The contrast between disciplined commander and seductive alchemical creation leaves her struggling with self-definition, prone to brief dissociative lapses.
• Empathic Overload:
Strong emotion in battle can flood her senses, fracturing concentration and disrupting leadership composure.

HISTORY
Lyras Valein was born on Manaan, the daughter of two human marine engineers stationed at the orbital defense yards. From her earliest years she learned to navigate both the literal and political tides of her water-world home. By fifteen, she had joined the local Planetary Defence Force, and within two years commanded a hybrid flotilla of surface vessels and atmospheric gunships. Her brilliance in fluid-dynamics tactics earned her the moniker "The Current's Mind."
But when a skirmish broke out Manaan, her parents disappeared amid the chaos—officially casualties, unofficially kidnapped by Sith scientists seeking genetic purity for aquatic projects. Lyras pursued their trail across space, eventually encountering Darth Virelia, who offered both answers and transformation.
Under Virelia's hand she entered the Ersansyr Protocol, sacrificing humanity to become something greater—amphibious, empathic, and resonant. Her strategic genius survived the metamorphosis, now enhanced by siren instinct.
Today she serves as Apprentice and Shipmaster of the Dark Court, commanding aquatic legions and space squadrons alike. Her flagship sails the void and the sea with equal ease. She obeys her Queen's will without question—yet, when the tides are still, she hums an old Manaan lullaby and wonders if her parents still hear her across the deep.
