- Versatile Design: Built to appeal to the upper classes, the Luminex-class is a well-rounded and comfortable personal transport - which is easily modified both pre- and post-production to appeal to the desires of individual owners. Two examples of popular alterations are replacing the pilot's station with a luxurious hot tub and part of or the entire crew/servants' quarters with droid storage.
- Expeditious: Fast, graceful, and with either an above-average or top-of-the-line Hyperdrive, depending on the model, the Luminex-class will get you where you need to go in comfort and style.
- Solar Sailer: Though it sports regular engines as well, the Luminex-class' solar sail allows it to travel without needing to use fuel, which also preventing it from leaving trackable residue behind. Equally importantly, it looks stylish as hell.
- Resilient: Despite its civilian nature, even the standard Luminex-class sports a powerful shield able to take quite a bit of punishment.
- Comfortable: Built for comfort, the Luminex-class is ill-suited for the bulk transport of people or goods.
- Solar Sailer: While certainly useful, the solar sail isn't quite as fast as the regular engines and is only usable in the general vicinity of a star.
- Civilian: Except for a trio of antipersonnel autostunners that are unlikely to penetrate military-grade body armour except through continuous fire, the Luminex-class is completely unarmed.
The first mass-produced yacht to leave Arctrus' shipyards in standard centuries, the Luminex-class is in many ways an archetypical Erakhian vessel - its systems are largely automated, and its interior is spacious, tastefully decorated, and made of high-end synthetic materials. Built for speed, comfort, and safety, either model is a sign of wealth and taste, though the Luminex Deluxe features more advanced systems and a truly bespoke interior, tailored to its owner's every need.
Though its slender frame is hardly optimised for cargo transportation, long shelves ring the top of its main lounge and other accessible spots, the kitchen stores a large amount of food in automated storage spaces, and the entry hallway holds no less than ten large lockers - perfect for storing everything from suits of armour to piles of gold, depending on one's needs. There is even an external storage bay configured to store a pair of speeder bikes or an airspeeder!
To further increase the breadth of its appeal, the spacecraft is optimised for nautical use as well, being able to dive deep underwater or float on the surface - it can even unfold its rear-deck into a spacious terrace!
