OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Intent: To provide an NPC Master for Jantar Keltainen
Role: A Sith Empire Master
Links: Sith Empire

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age: Approaching old age
Force Sensitivity: Master
Species: Human — Coruscant native
Appearance: Female, 1.84 metres tall, weighing 68 kilograms, with dark hair, grey-blue eyes and pale skin

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name: Loysia Tam-Arr
Loyalties: The Sith Empire
Wealth: No discernible wealth
Notable Possessions: Lightsaber

Skills:
1 Dun Möch - Master
2 Forms II and V - Master
3 Telekineses - Master

Personality: She is extremely dedicated to the Sith cause, and is determined to bring about the end of the Jedi. She is a firm believer in the rule of the strong, viewing the weak as chains holding back the strong. According to the natural order of things, Loysia believes, the weak should serve the strong, rather than being treated as equals. Whereas the Jedi believe that it is the duty of the strong to help the weak, Loysia believes that the strong were intended to rule the weak masses. Equality, she believes, is a lie perpetuated by the Jedi.

In her twilight years, she now seeks one last apprentice, worthy of her tutelage, so that she can pass on her knowledge before she dies.

COMBAT INFORMATION
Weapons of Choice: Lightsaber, blaster and the Force
Combat Function: She was trained in lightsaber combat by the Blademaster of the Sith. She became a deadly lightsaber duelist, and wielded a red-bladed, curved-hilt lightsaber. She developed a slightly altered style with her unique weapon, the subtleties of which were recognised by only the most experienced weapon handlers.

She is extremely adept at utilizing the Dun Möch technique, outsmarting and demoralising her rivals.

She has significantly reduced combat effectiveness when she is cut off from the Force and has become too dependent on the Force in general. She is at a disadvantage against ranged opponents as she uses the lightsaber as her sole weapon and does not wear armour.

Like many Sith she is addicted to the dark-side and it has taken its toll on her health and appearance — looking some twenty years older than she actually is.
And her skills do not extend to Sith magic — her knowledge is perfunctory and her abilities minimal.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Loysia grew up on Coruscant to a middle-class family. Not affluent enough to live at the top of the towers that dominate the entire skyline of the planet, but sufficient to reside above the smog line.

She learned hatred and anger at an early age, as he grew up with a step-mother father who despised her. Loysia, in turn, loathed her step-mother, who frequently insulted and beat her.

One day, after a particularly violent beating, Loysia killed her step-mother through unconscious use of the Force. She took to the dark side with ease after that. Initially, her use of the Force was largely instinctive.

This, however, brought her to the attention of the Sith, and she was soon sent to Korriban, to the main Sith Academy at the time.

Here she received formal training, and became a competent student. She was highly dedicated to her training and spent hours reading ancient Sith texts, knowledge that was forsaken by the school’s other attendees. In addition, she received private lessons in the ways of the dark-side, and excelled.

Like many students, she had strengths and weaknesses. She excelled in her manipulation of the Force and was a competent duellist. But try as she might, she had no affinity for Sith Magic — much to her chagrin.

By her late teens, she was with her third Master — the first dying at the hands of the Jedi and the second betrayed and killed by a fellow Sith Lord.

By the age of twenty she was a Sith Knight and took on her first apprentice. She did not suffer fools gladly and because she believed so passionately in the concept that only the strong should endure, she tested her charges ruthlessly — many dying in the first few months of tutelage — typically by a Jedi Padawan she’d pitched them against, or some fearsome beast.

By the time she was afforded the title Sith Lord, she had fallen out of favour with many of the Sith, due to her extreme methods that meant many Acolytes never progressed through to Knight due to them failing her exacting training methods and extreme judgement. Her approach was tolerated because of her loyal service to the Sith cause and willingness to face the Jedi at every available turn.

So she returned to Coruscant and rather than be handed Acolytes to train, she figured that anyone worthy enough would find her.

During her time with the Sith, she sought out and acquired a small collection of Sith scrolls, tomes, and texts. Some she is unable to use, due to her constraints, but believes a worthy apprentice ought to be able to utilise them.
