"What do you mean you don't know where the map is?" Her voice rang out above the sounds of the jungle, a strain of annoyance and anger hitching through it.

"You haaad itttss."

The Noghri hissed back at her, his voice stern and his expression as blank as ever. Rose stared at him for a moment, her eyes wandering over his own beady black orbs, until she realized that he was right. "Kark."

She muttered quietly to herself.

Things had moved fast over the last week, or rather things had been moving fast for the past few months. She had sent messages back every other week, one to Lily, one to her father. Most of the time they were simple. Most of the time they didn't really contain much at all in fact, just small updates on how she was doing and where she was. Two weeks ago however she had received a message back from her father, something that had contained an interesting fact.

Rose had been stunned at first, confused even, but quickly she had grown to accept it. It was good for her father. Part of it stung, but she knew that it was the right thing to do after all this time. Truthfully, Rose had much preferred the simpler return message from her Sister.

She chewed her lip for a moment, her hand reaching out to grasp the hilt of the blade that her mother had made all those years ago. Rose pulled the sword from the side of the ship, digging its blade into the ground so that she could lean back on it and think. "So we don't have the map."

Once something was lost in the outer rim, it was lost. There wasn't really much use in searching for it. Knowing this fact, and knowing that the two of them had to keep going, Rose began to ponder her options. The map had been important, it had contained their route for the next few weeks. Now that it was gone, she was at a small impasse.

She let out a loud sigh, opening her eyes to look at her companion who stared at her in silent judgement.

"Okay, okay okay okay." Rose finally said to her silent escort. "Lets go to Tatooine."
