STRENGTHS

• Cortosis edge - the edge of the blade is made from Cortosis so it can disrupt a Lightsaber’s blade when it comes into contact with it.
• The Sith alchemy strengthens the blade and makes it far more durable and sharper than it would have been without the alchemy.
• When wielded by a Force User, they can superheat the blade and reverse the metal’s polarity to deflect blaster bolts as you would with a Lightsaber.

DESCRIPTION

While it should be considered to be very likely to be a forgery or a poor imitation of what the sword would have been like, this is currently believed to be the rumoured lost Sith sword of Darth Malak. An ancient weapon that the Sith Lord was believed to have carried with him on occasion and potentially even used. However, accounts of this are heavily rumoured and there is no strong evidence of Malak ever using such a weapon.

The blade itself was discovered with other items that could have been considered relics connected to Darth Malak and his Sith Empire. However, the verification of this has not been confirmed and there is just as much of a chance that the blade was either an early attempt by him that was discarded or was something used by one of his many students.

As traditional for Sith swords, the blade still holds its sharpness and exudes a presence in the Force tied closely with the Dark Side. It is made from Cortosis and Phrik, with there being a considerable weight to the blade. The length and weight of the blade leans itself towards a greatsword style of blade.
