Lost in Oneself (PM for Invite)

Location: Voss Main Temple

Spencer had learnt a lot since coming to Voss as a youngling all those years ago, but something he always had trouble with was his concentrating with the force. Knowing that it was the root of all things Jedi he knew he must work on controlling and understanding the force more. He decided to seek out a quite spot within the temple where he could be alone with his thoughts. Wearing his large armour covered by his jedi robes he found a nice spot to meditate. Lowering his large body to the ground he sat cross legged on the floor. Closing his eyes and emptying his mind.

After some time meditating with a clear head he was able to purge himself of the negative feelings he had felt throughout his life. From his feelings of hate towards his parents to the feelings of anger and judgement towards those trying to hurt him in the big city. It was all gone, all that was left was the memories of the events that occurred. No feelings, just visual remembrance of what his life was like.

Spencer had been meditating for over an hour now, it was the longest he had done before. He had a deep connection to the force now, a connection he had never had before. He could feel the force flowing through his body rushing all around. With the force flowing through him he sat very still allowing his mind to do the work. Focusing on his lightsaber hilt he managed to lift it from his belt into the air with no hassle. The hilt levitated in front of him spinning around slowly and controlled. He continued to practice controlling the lightsaber through the force allowing it to move all around his body with little hassle. First step was to master it under meditation, next was to master it whilst in the heat of battle. He gently returned the hilt to his belt and began searching out other things around him he could focus and train with.

As he began to focus in on his surroundings looking for anything to to move with the force. He found a small bench, considerably larger than the hilt he began with. It would be quite a test, but he was sure he would be able to do it. As he focused in on the bench with his eyes till closed he pushed his hand out palm facing the bench. Reaching out he tried to lift the bench into the air. No luck, it rattled slightly as if someone had knocked it, but no lifting. He focused in again. allowing the bench to become the only thing on his mind. Extending his arm out further he tried again. One end of the bench began to lift off the ground, it was shaky but one side was in the air. It was an improvement. He tried to lift the bench further into the air. But he was only able to lift the one side higher into the air.

As he began lowering it back to the ground he was feeling quite exhausted, the amount of focus he had put into it drained him. He let the bench drop the rest of the way, with a crack it hit the ground, bouncing around slightly before coming to rest. Spencer returned to his meditation in hopes he could recover some of the spent force energy though meditation.
