"This is what you are trying to pass off as kolto now?" Kat had her hands on her hips, her silver eyes narrowed as she looked at the selkath smuggler. "I could piss better kolto. Get your act together before you try swindling me." Her one hand shifted slightly to where her gun was holstered and she unclipped her pistol and tilted her head. "I would really hate to end our illustrious business but I cannot accept this soddy work. Especially not where it intends to go."

There were a few locations that Kat had planned to be selling this medical supply that she was taking to the black market. There were some criminal organisations that needed some cheap medicine, some far outer rim worlds fending for themselves that needed support and there was a couple other deals that Kat had. The credits were a little tight this past few months and she was needing to make sure that the profits were maxed out. Anything but the best was not acceptable and this selkath fool had originally offered the best.

"This is all you are going to get, scum! I promised kolto and here it is, there is nothing better for you here." The selkath growled in his native language.

Sighing deeply, Kat was bitterly disappointed, this was not the turn of events that she had hoped for but there was some opportunity that Kat knew. Another source but it was far more risky. "A shame, A'arung." With lightning fast reflexes, Kat shot her pistol and killed the selkath. "I don't appreciate the name calling, especially when you are the one failing me." Kat holstered her gun once again and stepped past the dead body. Opening the tanks of kolto, she checked the quality once again. Still not worth much but Kat had some ideas. She could sell the cheaper stuff to groups that couldn't afford pricier terms for the more dangerous good kolto supply that was now going to be her mission.

Biggest issue she was facing was the kolto was in some underwater base, with a lot of guards and security droids. The droids were not something that Kat was too concerned about but based on numbers, Kat wasn't thrilled with the idea of dealing with the others. Too many risks and while splitting profits was not something the mercenary was particularly fond of. It was better than dying alone in some ridiculous underwater base for kolto.

Tapping her comms, she sent out a message to any criminals, mercenaries or anyone interested in making some credits about raiding an underwater base on Manaan. Profits would be 70/30 in Kat's favour. Since she had done all the leg work.

A comm beeped not too far from where Kat had been standing. The hooded rogue had already been trying to haggle a bit, gaining information for her Master and his council. With the current wars and tariffs imposed by the Empire, Kolto was in high demand and priced high by several behind the Blackwall and beyond.

It would be in her Master's best interest to get the Kolto for themselves.

Reaching into the pack, the shuffling of quivered arrows pattered in the air as the rogue flicked through the notice. Lips curled into a grin as she quickly picked up on the location of the original poster. A few presses and the posting closed and was removed. An alert would chime on Kat's device, but before she could look, the hood would fall, and the cheshire grin of a familiar Corellian would appear.

"70/30? Quite the steal for you, 60/40, and you have a deal, Ms. Decoria." Her voice was hushed, but the drawl of the Corellian accent would easily give her away.

"Been a long time, Kat, didn't think you'd be smuggling much these days." Allyson, of course, was prepared for the worst. The Echani was known for her temper, especially when she had a few drinks in her. With the spiral into the dark side, Allyson had kept her distance from almost everyone around her.

In particular, anyone who could have had any ties to the Alliance. Though with them gone and most of the Jedi scattered, Allyson felt a bit freer to show her charming face.

"You look good."

Kat wasn't expecting anyone to be on the planet that would be interested in helping her. That would accept the tough offer that she was offering, but it was one that she placed to be negotiated over. Too many times, she had learned to never accept the first offer put in front of you. Kat paused and looked to see where a nearby cantina could be located so she could grab a couple drinks while she was waiting to see who would turn up for the job. As she turned spotting a dive bar, her comms bleeped with the notification that her offer had been taken down. The Echani's silver eyes narrowed since that was beyond unusual and her mind lingered on one idea of who that would be. But Kat doubted that name would return to her life once again.

Then Allyson Locke stood before her.

Kat stood still, silent as she studied the Corellian. Taking in every detail, assessing what had changed since their last meeting and what remained the same. Kat was also making sure that this was the woman that she knew and not some shapeshifter attempting to lower her guard. However, as Allyson spoke, Kat knew this was the real one. No one dared to have such cocky confidence with Kat like Allyson did. Especially after everything they had been through, Allyson always seemed to act like no time had passed. It was something that Kat wondered was the standard experience for those heartbroken by the Corellian or just reserved for herself.

"60/40 is a reasonable ask. I mean, it's not like I found the location, organised the mission, will be fighting as hard as yourself to get the kolto out and also organised extraction for smuggling the goods out of High Republic territory..." Kat listed, then smirked, "honestly, I was going to accept 60/40. However, for you, Ms. Locke, I will offer the very generous split of 70/30. Call it the heartbreak tax." There was a heavy sarcastic tone to her voice, her silver eyes gave none of the previous joy or excitement she always had when seeing Allyson.

Hearing the compliment, Kat stepped closer, "I look amazing, thank you. But you don't get to admire, so, let's keep it on business. Tell me, you taking your 30% back to where you have been hiding since Woostri?" Kat knew that Allyson had completely defected to the Sith, she had tried to maintain their friendship even after the defection. Willing to become a Sith herself to ensure that Allyson never felt alone and that there was always someone who had the Corellian's back. But in the end, Kat found herself alone, like she had so many times before when trying to support Allyson. "Since, if that's the case then your 30 should be a very profitable amount. I hear prices are skyrocketing over there."

It was hard to keep the smirk on her face. Kat surgically poked at every bit of Allyson, who had hoped that some time apart would have eased the tension. It seemed the girl was still wounded by the heartbreak that was delivered… probably more than once on a silver platter.

Allyson stepped back, her hands up as she kept her smile.

"Hey now, no need to be so harsh." Allyson had a feeling she was going to get a mouthful with whatever she said next. But these were the walls, the boundaries that Kat had built to protect herself. Even then, Allyson wanted a way in.

For old times' sake… or something like that.

"60/40 isn't a big ask. You did good work, but I have a few added bonuses," She tilted her head and chuckled.

"I'm funny, I'm good with technology, I have a few ways in and out of the Republic… uhhhh…" Allyson looked away, trying to think of anything actually beneficial for this partnership that wouldn't get her murdered by the Echani.

"We have history?" She shrugged and then sighed softly.

"You know I didn't break your heart on purpose, Kat. It's been how long? You still punishing me over it? What can I do to make it up to you?" Frowning, she sighed again and groaned, showing her annoyance at the situation.

"If it makes you feel any better, I cut everyone off after Woostri. Valery was supposed to be my friend — someone who was supposed to understand the shit we did as Shadows."

Looking around, Allyson surveyed the small area around them for anyone who could be listening. Once she settled on feeling a bit safer, she looked at Kat again.

"I didn't know who to trust —" she put her hand up, almost in anticipation of the woman to counterargue that small point.

"I trust you, yes, but I didn't know who to trust that wouldn't hurt you…" Frowning, Allyson didn't give her a chance to rebut.

"I know you can take care of yourself, you've done it this long, it's different though. You haven't had to deal with the ugly side of chit like this. Didn't want you involved, I'm sorry…"

She looked away, prepared for Kat to deny the mission after this much.

"I care about you, alright, even if we're not sleeping together, I still care about you…"

She stopped herself. The last thing Kat probably wanted to hear was Allyson call her Kid again.

"65/35 and I buy you a drink, sound good? For old time's sake, you've seen me naked, the least you could do is give me a bit of a bigger cut."

There was a time where Kat would have jumped for Allyson, no questions asked, there were times where she wanted to pummel the Corellian into an early grave as well. But this time was neither, there was just a colder look. Assessing the risks and the benefits of having Allyson working with her. Being around her again. Kat struggled so much to balance her feelings before, she would always reflect that it felt like she become a different woman around Allyson than she was with others. Perhaps, that was why she felt like her heart always truly belonged to the Corellian, and why it was so hard for her accept the disappointments.

"Which time you broke my heart didn't you mean, Allyson? The time you abandoned me, dumped me and then flaunted your happy marriage to Taiia? The time you made yourself my blind date to then reject me after I kissed you? Or the time that I was willing to follow you down the darkest of roads to make sure you didn't feel abandoned, to be abandoned by you when you decided to go chasing some other woman?" Kat questioned, raising her eyebrow as she looked to see if Allyson would react to the fact that Kat remembered each and every time she felt heartbroken by the other woman. "I am not punishing you over it. I'm just not going to let you back in, only to find out that you found someone you like better and dump me like I am trash."

She shook her head, and felt a pang of disappointment in Allyson. Taking a step back to add even further distance between them. "You really never understood me, or the feelings I had for you, huh." Kat spoke in a softer, melancholic tone, "I would have died to keep you safe, I would have destroyed anything to ensure that you woke up every morning, smiling, content and finally feeling loved by those around you." Her eyes locked to Allyson's, "but you never saw that, you never believed in me enough to trust I could do what was needed to ensure that. Hm." There wasn't anger as she looked at Allyson but reassessing things. Wondering how she failed to put these feelings across.

"65/35, you buy my drinks for the entire night and nothing cheap. As for the fact I've seen you naked... Meh, should have mentioned the fact I know how talented your tongue is. Actions are far more impressionable than looks." Kat broke the coldness with a gentle smirk, knowing that this was probably exactly what the Corellian wanted. But Kat knew she couldn't keep being cold the entire mission together. "The submersible is this way, since you are already here, probably best to get started with the mission."

Allyson's smile faded with each blow from the Echani. When it was all laid out so clearly, Allyson could understand the frustration and the pain she had caused. This was another case of Allyson thinking she knew best for someone and refusing to let them make their own choices. Yet Allyson did see herself as someone older and 'wiser' who could help Kat.

But she was an idiot and let the boundary cross when she shouldn't have. She let the woman finish, her smile now just her jaw dropping as she brought up a compliment that in any other moment Allyson would have felt quite smug over.

But she was more annoyed with herself than anything.

"Correction, I didn't flaunt my marriage to Taiia in front of you. I didn't parade her around even when we were dating. I didn't know you were going to be at that party, nor did I know you and Vaylin had something?" Allyson couldn't remember exactly, but it was obvious during that lovely evening on Ryloth that all three women got to know each other.

Kat didn't know it, but soon after Ryloth, after Coruscant and Rhand… too many close calls — Allyson had asked Taiia to marry her. It was at that moment that the dog tags that were often around her neck disappeared and remained in Taiia's possession. In its place was her wedding ring on the same thin chain.

"Why do you think I was flaunting Kat?" Allyson shook her head as she tried to process the rest of it.

Out of everything, the Corellian hated that the girl felt the need to come to the Sith Empire. Those actions were why she kept her at an arm's length. If she had given in, allowed Kat to love her, the girl would be dead.

"Kat, I understood, I understood far better than you think. But, the fact that you would die for me?" Allyson shook her head again, "You shouldn't want to die for someone, no matter what or how much you care about them."

Hypocrite.

Allyson sighed. Maybe recent developments had helped her see past some of her more destructive tendencies.

"Someone's happiness shouldn't ride on the destruction of others. I care a lot about you, Kat. Maybe we both suck at understanding each other."

Allyson patted the girl on the shoulder as she smirked. "Thanks for the compliment. Force knows I've been out of practice, but right right — nothing cheap."

Looking in the direction Kat had pointed out, Allyson adjusted her hood and drew it up over her head. This was going to be an interesting mission; hopefully, both of them can survive it… without killing each other.

Allyson frowned as she thought quietly. Kat wanted to be in her life… and while she was refusing to let her in, maybe she needed to take the first step.

"I— uh, I went to Odessen recently." Allyson started as they walked towards the submersible, "Met with Taiia… after I walked out on her like I did…"

She let the words hang for a moment; part of her wondered if Kat was going to kill her in that moment.

Kat shook her head, "I just flirted with Vaylin, nothing happened. Nothing ever happens with other women when you enter my life again. No matter how much I try." She sighed as this conversation wasn't leaving, looking to Allyson and wondering why this conversation needed to be said. "You weren't actively flaunting it but you were flaunting it. You showed me how I wasn't good enough. How I wasn't pretty enough, that I wasn't giving you everything you needed, that there was someone out there better for you than me. Especially since you repeatedly told me that you couldn't date, that you weren't able to date."

"You told me that you couldn't fall in love with anyone else after the heartbreak of your first love. Then you found Taiia." Kat spoke in a deeply hurt voice, trying to rein her emotions back in, trying to fight back the tears as she was forced to relive those memories once again. "I accepted the fact that you couldn't love me because of that, then I see you giving that love to someone else. How else am I suppose to feel, Allyson? How am I meant to see that display and just be okay?"

She snorted and glared at Allyson, "you really want me to believe that you would never do that for the person you loved. That you would never do that for Taiia? I don't understand you because you barely opened up to me. Instead, you called me kid, you saw me as weak or not good enough. You gave me as many self esteem issues as my own damn mother has, Allyson. You never gave me a chance to show you what I can offer, I never could figure out why that was." Kat flinched away from the touch and just looked at Allyson. "I find that hard to believe, but perhaps that is what you need. Time to focus on yourself and have a better understanding of who you are."

As they walked to the submersible, Allyson decided to drop another bomb on Kat. Causing the Echani to pause in her steps and looking down at the ground as she contemplated what to do. Part of her thought about screaming in frustration, another part just wanted to curl up and die. Placing her face in her hands Kat really considered the options, "sounds about right for my luck in the galaxy. Good luck there." Was all that she could manage to say.

She really did wonder what she had done in a past life to deserve all this.

Allyson pulled her hand back from Kat as she shrugged it off. Frowning, Allyson could see that Kat was already so deeply bent inward that she was unable to see anything or hear anything that Allyson was saying. That was always the issue with Kat; she saw what she wanted to see, especially if it justified the negative feelings she felt.

She and the Corellian were similar in that sense. Allyson often twisted whatever was put in front of her so that it fit her narrative, fit how she viewed the galaxy. Allyson wanted to shake Kat, try to make her understand everything she was saying was of her own mind, poisoning reality.

But everything was Allyson's fault, everything was because of how she perceived Allyson's view of her.

She shrugged off the bow, the quiver, her cloak, all of it pooled at her feet as she watched Kat continue to spiral into herself over their past interactions. If Allyson could have foretold all of this, she would have kept her distance — perhaps done better explaining things instead of being a complete mess herself.

Shrugging her shoulders, she loosened up and then sprinted and tackled Kat to the ground. She fully expected some fight back. Kat was an Echani and better at hand-to-hand combat than Allyson ever could dream of being. But this was the only way she was going to get through to her.

Wrestling the girl a bit, Allyson straddled her, or her leg, whichever was easiest at this point, and allowed her to flip over. She swung, aiming to just stun, not to harm.

"You're an idiot, Kat." She raised her voice, "You're literally one of two people I keep coming back to, not just for sex, but because I can fucking trust you." Another swing as she tried to keep herself on top of the Echani as long as she could. She knew the moment Kat got wise, she would be on her back and in a world of hurt.

"I care about you, but if I don't do exactly as you want, I'm the problem! I'm not! I'm just as fucked up as you are — I don't open up to people. I fucking terrifies me."

Reaching, she grabbed at the lapels of the Echani's jacket and tried to shake her.

"I know you're going to hate this, but you're the closest thing to family for me, you're the last bit of the Silver Jedi I have. I'd fucking burn the galaxy for you, I'd do it for Taiia too — but I don't, I would find any way not to because once I saved you, once I saved her, and there was nothing left of me — It would hurt you, destroy you."

If she could, she'd take this moment to slap Kat — hopefully knocking some sense into her, snapping her out of this spiral of self-doubt.

"Get over yourself. I never told you that you weren't enough, that you weren't someone worth loving. Don't compare me to your mother EVER! I don't know how much more I can do to try and get you to understand that you're just as important to me. I wouldn't keep coming back if you weren't."

Kat could sense the tension of an attack incoming faster than her reaction to the tackle. She was caught off guard since the Echani had not thought that Allyson would be provoked by her words into attacking. Every time before, tension built up but it was usually defused with a kiss, with a sign of lust or passion. This was different, this was speaking more towards the language that Kat had been raised with. There wasn't a fight back, in fact, Kat opened herself up to the strikes. Showing that she felt this was deserved, she had been mean, unfair to Allyson. She deserved to be hurt and punished for that. But there was the subtler gesture that hid underneath that, the inability to hurt the woman she had always loved.

Words were easy throw around. If Allyson wished to spar properly, to communicate deeper, then Kat would. But she couldn't strike the Corellian just out of anger. Since the anger was never truly directed towards Allyson.

Taking the first two hits without resistance, Kat just looked up to Allyson, "I never wanted anything from you but your love, and I never demanded that from you. I respected your boundaries every time you set them." Looking away, ashamed, "even though what I wanted to do most was to fight and prove that we could be more than friends. To fight for you like others did..." There was a sniff as she heard how much that Allyson cared for Kat, believing it for the first time. She felt the slap across her face, and looked back to Allyson.

Her hand reached up and gently caressed Allyson cheek, "I could never, will never, hate anything you give me Allyson Locke. I remember every encounter we have had, every time we crossed paths because you will never not be in my heart. I try so hard to be cool, calm and mature around you and then you will do a classic smirk, the casual attitude like no time has passed and always wearing this leather jacket... And it melts my heart once again. Every time I criticise you it is because I am trying my hardest to not still be in love with you. To push you away because I yearn for you." Kat confessed, confessing feelings that she had never felt the confidence to share before this time now. Always too scared.

Kat lifted her hips and pushed Allyson onto her back, leaning in close. "I admit I was never bold enough, never time things right. I never fought hard enough to be the woman you marry, even though that is all I thought about when we were together..." A gentle kiss on the lips, pulling back slowly, "I should never have compared you to my mother and I regret hurting you with my words. I just... It is hard to want more and to know it could never be. To wonder so much on what could have been."

"Also, you will never land a punch on me again, so enjoy those two blows while you can." Kat gave a silly grin and a wink to Allyson.

The confession was something she hadn't expected. For everything that had conspired between them, Allyson assumed Kat would continue to fight her every inch. Yet, she took the hits, even reached up and cradled the face of her attacker. Allyson was so surprised that it shocked her to hear everything Kat was saying.

She had always known it was there, hidden under the attempts to appear like the woman she assumed Allyson wanted. To learn that Kat often felt she needed to be someone she wasn't, and that bothered Allyson. Whatever gave the girl that impression, she needed to know. Still, Kat continued, and Allyson stopped after the slap, seeing that this was seemingly the best course of action.

If only she were better and fluent in Echani combat…

Before Allyson could respond, Kat found an opening and the Corellian soon found herself on her back. Blinking, Allyson looked up and was silenced by the gentle kiss. In any other life or time, Allyson would have returned it. She would have reached up and chased Kat to keep her close, relishing in the moment. But not now, and perhaps not ever as long as Taiia remained by the Corellian.

There was an ache, but Allyson knew it would soon silence itself. She could feel how Kat felt, understanding it better now. All these years, she had kept all of this inside when all she had to do was be honest. But to be honest, Allyson was sometimes the worst thing you could be.
She understood the irony.

"Kat," Allyson finally spoke as she lay on her back, returning the smirk after the small quip.

Hopefully, it meant what the woman hoped it meant. Despite all of this, they were going to be okay. That there was a chance they could continue this friendship, without lingering feelings causing issues.

"I'm sorry if I never made you feel comfortable enough to say all of this before." Allyson shook her head. "You don't have to try and be anything other than yourself with me — I thought that was always something that you knew."

She reached up and carefully brushed back the silver hair of the Echani. Kat had always been beautiful, in every aspect of her life. It always bothered Allyson that the Echani had clung so tightly, so hopelessly to her — someone who often didn't have a future. Kat deserved to be happy…

Her fingers carefully placed the stray strands of the Echani's hair behind her ear. "Don't sell yourself short, Kat. I do care and love you, but I can't be what you want. I hope that's okay… I can't fully explain it or make it feel better, but I'll try and make it up to you."

Patting the girl's face, she moved to get up. "Trust me, just because I'm old doesn't mean I still can't kick your ass."

Allyson smirked, deciding to push her luck a bit, "So this deal, 50/50 now since you don't hate me anymore?"

Kat could feel that there was a lack of desire from Allyson for more. The mention of Taiia had confirmed in Kat's mind on where things were going to be standing. There returned a coldness in Kat's gaze once again, walls returning after she had allowed them briefly to be shaken down by Allyson. It wasn't going to be and likely never to be, and Kat had to accept that boundary now. No matter how much that Kat wanted something else. How much she wanted to pursue something that there always seemed to be shared between the two.

Feeling the touch to her hair, she permitted the indulgence this time. But didn't lean into the touch, "it wasn't that you made me uncomfortable or unable to say the necessary things... I just took you at your words and respected the boundaries that you set. You told me that we were just friends. Therefore, I never wanted to push you away or scare you off by demanding more." She took what she could with Allyson and never pushed for more, a personal fear was that Allyson would be disappointed if Kat crossed the line even though the Shadow had been so very clear on what she wanted.

"You have never had to be anything than yourself with me, Allyson. I have always loved and respected you as you are, broken, damaged and guarded. But caring, selfless and very romantic." Kat pulled herself back to stand on her feet and extended a hand to help Allyson up off the floor. "And you mentioned reconnecting with Taiia once again, clearly things went well there, probably better than this I am guessing. Especially since you would have been dragging me to a hotel if that were not the case, as you have in the past." Kat knew Allyson well enough to know when the woman was wanting to actually make a relationship work over just friendly reconnection.

Shaking her head, "put a bow in your hands, you probably have the fight. But no Force, no weapons. You don't stand a chance." Kat argued as she placed her hands on her hips, "I have been doing random merc work since you last saw me. Lots of fighting and dealing with angry husbands." Kat chuckled as she dusted her jacket.

"Oh, you want to go back to 70/30 because you feel so bad for breaking my heart all these years, that's so kind Allyson Locke." Kat retorted to Allyson's attempts to adjust the profits once again.

Taking Kat's arm, she was lifted up with ease. Either Kat's strength had improved, or Allyson wasn't as dense as she thought she was. No matter, her old joints welcomed the help to stand up. Hands made quick work of dusting herself off; she listened and understood where the Echani was coming from. Allyson was notorious for her actions, speaking a whole other language than her words.

She didn't press the matter. It would create more confusion between them. But she sensed the coldness, the walls being rebuilt between them. Allyson couldn't blame Kat, and she wondered if this was the last time she'd run into the woman.

Kat continued, causing Allyson to smile. She'd let her win this one if it would ease the sting that they could be nothing but friends from now on. She would always be the temptation, the one that got away — but Taiia had captured her heart without her realizing it. The woman had it for the last thirty years and more. So even if she wanted to move on, despite trying… she couldn't.

"Alright, you got me there," Allyson held up her hands, "but I will argue that I'd still give you a run for your money," she laughed, trying to keep the mood light.

She needed allies… friends and people who wouldn't judge her for the choices she'd made up to this point. While Kat was often a guarantee for that role, she now wondered.

Especially the deal she made that cost hundreds of lives.

Another time.

"You wound me, but if that will get me off your chit list, then we can do 70/30." A wily grin spread across her face as she stretched the little tussle from her muscles.

As much as she wanted to linger and just catch up, Allyson knew time was money when it came to mercenary work. Tilting her head, she huffed with a laugh.

"Angry husbands, what did you do to get something like that on the to-do list? Did I rub off on you more than I thought?"

Kat looked to Allyson, she had never thought that she could compete with the other women in Allyson's life, they always seemed to win the notorious heartbreaker's heart more than Kat could. Even though she knew that she was close with Allyson in ways that few were, Kat just always found herself feeling more like the friend that was a reliable comfort. Over the women like Taiia, Madeline or Kaili. Those were the women that set fires in Allyson that Kat had never really seen shown to herself.

"Perhaps, I am not the fighter that my niece is. So, you stand a decent chance." Kat smiled, a brief warmness to her voice as a demonstration of understanding where she was in relation to Allyson. A friend, someone who would never abandon Allyson but also needing to move on with her affections. There had been others before and after Allyson, it shouldn't feel as heart breaking as it did for the mercenary, but Kat couldn't help but feel destroyed. Didn't help that her mother's voice of never being enough always echoed in the back of her mind.

Shaking her head, "only reason you were on my chit list is because you assumed you could charm your way into an equal split. But charms from a happily married woman are not as charming, unfortunately for you." Kat poked her tongue out in a teasing way, figuring that some light banter between friends could be a good sign that Kat wasn't expecting to just drop off the face of the galaxy because she couldn't get into bed with Allyson. That was never how Kat approach things between them. The coldness was only needed to help Kat move on, to accept that her first love, the first woman she ever saw a future with, was now living that future with another person.

"Hey, it's the way that it goes. Single life is not the easiest life to live, especially when you are constantly on the move and never on one planet long enough to try any attempts for happiness." Kat shrugged her shoulders as she walked towards the submersible. "Makes you less picky on the women you bed, as for the angry husbands. Bah, they tend not to be too much of an issue after the first two or three." Kat chuckled as opened the submersible's door with a wave of her hand and the Force.

Looking to Allyson, "Ready then, trouble?" With a wink to Allyson.
