Lorinar : The lost planet

Entering from the South side of the hangar , Dressed in her Jedi garments, Kara made her way towards the bar. Looking above the bar at the specials listed for the evening, She knew she had to go for her "guilty pleasure". Although surveying the area, She was at ease as far as politics were concerned.

(Seen one... Seen them all )

This was the vibe that she received wherever she went. Just a Jedi... Another pompous Jedi looking for a reason to show off their strength or intellect. This wasn't Kara at all. But she held firm to her core beliefs of being what she determined to be as a good person. Her personal code was aligned with the teachings of her mother. Love, respect, honor, and most of all... Justice...

As she gave a slight nod to the bartender who was taking Tes'Reya Hedroke Tes'Reya Hedroke order. The man known as Silas greeted her warmly with a slide of a napkin and a tall flute that awaited liquid contents.

"Kara! Welcome back! Few days no? The usual right?" He asks with a smirk. Coming back his thinned brown hair with his left hand he awaited her response.

"Yes... You got it... Make it a triple... Im celebrating today... The future looks bright...!" She responds while her gaze around the room locked eyes with the dark-haired stranger for a moment. Who was she?

Meeting the eyes of Kara Kornelius Kara Kornelius left a few questions to be answered. It wasn't that she was clearly a Jedi... Or at least dressed like one. It was the fact that she could have been a spy, or assassin sent to eliminate Tes. After all, her paranoia had also played a role in wherever she went. She was home. Back where she possibly no longer belonged... If whoever was after her knew her past. Tes' decided to wait and see what could become of the situation. No need to panic or cause a scene... Yet...

Overhearing the conversation with the bartender and Kara, She exhaled deeply while glancing over a menu given to her.

Porg Shanks

Aacht with side of rice-su

Butun berries

Jedha Tentacles in ink (Baked/Fried)

Salted potato sticks

Oola legs with side of cream

Not a bad selection. She would choose the Jedha Tentacles (fried) .. And look to the bartender

"Make sure they are well done.... Most.. Prefer the latter.." She states as Silas nods.

Kara overhears the conversation between Silas and Tes'Reya Hedroke Tes'Reya Hedroke . (She must have had less than great service when dining out) She thinks to herself as she takes a sip of her glowing white liquid. As Kara looked on.. She decided to attempt to know what Tes' could have been through. The darkness under her eyes... The stoic gesture... She looked as if she lost someone close to her.. Or went through something that she may have a hard time getting past... Kara looks away briefly towards the crowd behind her and closes her eyes, using the force to peer into the surfaced emotional state of Tes' Reya

It was clear... Tes was disturbed and it showed. Kara turns back to face the bar and nods to the bartender who walks back over to her.

"Have you seen her before?" She asks

"The gal over there at the side? No.. Then again... Im not here ALL the time... This place being a large attraction for tourists, you get many people in and out of here. You know... Dressing like that nowadays could get ya in trouble. Im hearing there setting new mandates to test DNA of Jedi... It was on the news.."

"Mandate?"

"Yep. Something about limiting powers of force users or something.. If you believe that." He responds while greeting a small group down on the end with a head nod.

"For centuries... Acording to the codex, The Jedi have always lived by an honorable and disciplined lifestyle. An honest one... Sometimes, that lifestyle can be a little murky." Kara responds as she looks back at Tes'Reya Hedroke Tes'Reya Hedroke with a slight smile and nod, gesturing a hello.

Tes notices the gesture and in return gives a slight nod. How interesting. She was so determined to be emotionless and stoic but couldn't help herself. She was beginning to question her mind and how fractured it had truly become. On one hand, It was her fear that drove her. The fear of loss. This kept her away from the very possibility of forming any bonds with anyone. But apart of her yearned for the very thing she loathed. This woman was different. Eyes locked in on hers. But Tes couldn't get a read on her. Even with her insight. Something was interestingly odd. This eccentric individual made Tes want to know more.

She would rise from her stool and head over towards Kara Kornelius Kara Kornelius And sit next to her. Staring forward as if looking at her would be a crime, she spoke with a sharp tone , uttering words of warning.

"Good intentions are always met with evil schemes. If your here for me... Let's skip the charades and just get to it, yes?"

"Here for you? I don't even know you... However, Your energy is spiking in several different directions... Not to be forward, But it screams out louder than a security alarm. (She chuckles). Are you taking a step forward just to take two steps back?" She asks while turning to face Tes' in a calming demeanor.

Tes would pause for a minute. Was she in her head? How could she sense the internal conflict within? Had she known about her recent encounter with the dark one? Tes didn't have allies and didn't know if she had enemies and worst of all..Was afraid of no one caring. She had been told to let go of these internal conflicts and to let nature take hold. But how? Her training was incomplete to state mildly.

"Words are spoken like a wise one..... Im just here weighing my options... Your not who I thought you may be.. But it doesn't mean you are who I think you shouldn't be.." She uttered blatantly, accusing Kara of being connected with the force.

Kara paused for a moment and shrugged in response....

"I am no one special... Just look out for those I care about... Stopped here on the way to the Grand festival that is taking place downtown... The market place... Has everything to offer... Lots of fun! It has all types of games, auctions, a grand theatre...... (She then looks at her) ... " In the event of embarrassment, I will introduce myself anyhow... Kara.... Kara Kor..." She states while extending a hand.

"Tes.... Tes'Reya.... " She responds while shaking her hand in response.

"I would say it is a pleasure but that's to be determined...Im not here for fun and town festivities... I am here on business... Let us get right to it... You are a jedi... I am a Jedi.... The force has opened itself and revealed to me many things and yet... The more I understand... The more questions I have... For instance... What your true intentions are beyond the parlor trick you pulled earlier... Anyone can control an inanimate object with basic training and focus.."

"This is true... It was a simple gesture to get a smile out of you... I meant no offense...No hidden intentions... Your basic understanding of the force surely has taught you the difference between someone who is being genuine and has I'll intentions, no?" She responds

As the question was posed to Tes... She thought about it. Had she really known the basic understanding of the force? Or was her memory fragmented and training disrupted due to her attachment to the dark one? She had to respond quickly.

"I have an understanding way beyond what you think you know, padawan..."

Kara would look deep into Tes' eyes in attempt to match her frequency and determine if Tes had the intention of lying or if she truly had an understanding of the force....

Kara continued staring into Tes' eyes.... And within that moment that told a story in itself... Kara knew.. This wasn't by chance. But she did not know why fate had it so..

"So I see... Words that attempt to cut like a Fanned Rawl... A padawan.. I am not...You mention business...very well....However.....Business with pleasure has always been your kind's motto has it not?" She responds just as quickly, referencing the ancient lore of the Jedi, which states they have no emotional connections with others, thus narrowing the alliance of Tes'Reya Hedroke Tes'Reya Hedroke .

Tes would turn to look at Kara and scoff while replying.

"It seems that the force... Is just that.... The wielder determines it's own fate...I will assume you are familiar with Coruscant's temples and ancient artifacts...The archives at the old academy are full of information... Tell me then... Jedi.... Did any survive the war?"

"Some.... There are sectors within the planet that house fleeing patrons... Campsites for those without resources.. Many of those within certain sub-academies that fell during the war took refuge there. Others besides Jedi were in the war as well.. Allies on both sides... Militia...Bounty hunters... Forces beyond reason.... It was.. Interesting..." She responded while looking at Tes.

"The important thing to remember is that WAR affects everyone....Changes them.. For better or worse. I was not a part of the effort on the frontlines, but I partook in recovery efforts."

"My how times have changed. You....You are not a simple one are you? Complicated to say the least. I don't have room in my life for friends... So I think I am done here." Tes states as she rises and nods her head wanting to believe her own statement. She then goes to exit the area and sees a information booth where a droid has a screened display of the are for all travelers to see. It shows the current location and points of interest within the area. Tes looks and sees that the grasslands are North of her location. She recalled an event there...One that took place long ago.. And there was a temple that neighbored a cavern. She never had the chance to explore the cavern, however she felt that was a place that she needed to explore. Perhaps there was a reason
