- Blasters and Lightsabers, Oh My: As clothing goes, this gown is exceptionally durable against blaster fire in particular, able to withstand even direct hits. It is not indestructible, however - one's best bet for survival if somebody starts shooting is still to run for cover.
- Waterproof: The fabric has been treated so that it will not retain water (and become heavy) when submerged.
- Fireproof: The gown is resistant to fire damage.
- Pockets: It has pockets on the sides.
- Decorative Only: The organza (that sheer fabric covering up the skirt) is very delicate, lacking any of the resistances listed (aside from being waterproof and resistant to flame).
- Those Who Live By the Sword: The gown has no real durability against kinetic damage, such as that dealt by vibroblades and swords.
- Revealing: The gown leaves a fair amount of bare skin exposed. Anywhere that isn't covered up will remain unprotected.
Commissioned by Loomi, the Padawan specifically wanted a purple, floral-themed gown with a shorter skirt so as not to get caught in the joints of her prosthetic legs, as well as a bodice which would cover up a scar on her back. Thelma used organza, a stiff sheer fabric, to give the short skirt some added volume and make it look a little more formal without hampering Loomi's legs.
