I want to play a force sensitive with an interest in trading things or managing things. I need a master. Any takers?
P Praxeologist depends on the master you need. I have two lightsiders who are open and who I can use well. One though is Baran Do not Jedi, the other is jedi. One semi-grey (he isn’t grey exactly, he just uses the force as a thing without leaning) but he’s also a trandoshan bounty hunter so you’d be treading a strange path, and i have two darksiders. Both have an apprentice but don’t do much with them regularly. One of those is Salis, the other is Nexus. If you take Nexus either make them his species (it looks and is mostly human but with a specific internal organ trait and are very powerful when they are force sensitive), or expect him to basically look at you as a powerful slave.
I can explain more when I’m at my computer again
EDIT:
Ok now that I'm back a few things:
Grey Forces is a potential faction you could join. It does involve teachers for the force and so that's a way to go about it, but there is a lot of military aspects to it, so keep that in mind.
There's also the Grayson Imperium. Again, a lean towards the militaristic side.
Now for clarification on my characters. This may be a little long, as I want to give you the best idea I can:
Light siders:
Tasha Blackmoor: She actually struggles with the force herself. But mainly in meditation. Tasha is a very skilled combatant with a good intellect, she's also a specialist in technopathy and using modern equipment and methods but combining them with the force. Combining armor, a shield, a rifle, pistols, her lightsaber, and the force, into one big method which she calls the way of the Yaka (more a level of strategy, then set design of specific movements). Tasha has problems with her past as she was once captured by slavers for a year, so she has occasional flashbacks and scars from that time. Lots of problems with slavers, but over-all she tries really hard to help. She's working to learn to meditate and over-come her past again, while working with the Grayson Imperium. She's actually pretty well off as she's a businesswoman and the heir to a count on Alderaan, but don't expect much pompousnoous from her because she did train as a padawan until her capture, and then trained on her own. She can teach a lot about application of the force and combat, but less about the force itself.
Xos Drikre: A baran Do sage. Normally only Kel Dor join. But he accepts outsiders. One of my more powerful characters, but by far the most peaceful. He has been prone to visions on the daily since childhood. Him and the Baran Do are very focused on meditation, peace, and fore-seeing or sensing incoming dangers (particularly with nature, but general disasters are good to know as well). They are known for becoming negotiators, politicians, and seers. However the Baran Do are also prone to powerful telikinesis, and using things like Force Whirlwind. And some are even able to use a light side form of White Lightning. Xos is extremely kind and always wants to help, you won't find him spontaniously going into combat. But he knows a lot about the force itself and is very in tune with it, allowing it to guide him. He is not a jedi, and while he does know combat and will, if forced, use it, he always persuades against it unless it is the only good option.
Rocho Krul is the bounty hunter. He is not quite a master, but he could teach a person somewhat about the force. His first priority is obtaining more points for the scorekeeper so in the after-life he has a better one. This of course involves killing, both people (he has restrictions on who he kills, but don't expect a paragon of virtue here. As long as the person has attacked someone not in self defense or defense of someone else who is also free of it, they're open game.) and he doesn't really have too many other loyalties. He tends to act upright, but it's mostly because he obeys contracts and doesn't bother with lies or deceit. Rocho is about as skilled as Tasha in combat, if not better at the killing part, and he can meditate. But he also treats the force more as a tool then Tasha does, not believing in it having a real will or that it should be obeyed. He almost treats it as just another tool in a box, just a really big powerful tool.
Two darksiders are Salis and Nexus.
Salis (this one): She used to be a Sith Knight. However she got bored with it, became a mercenary, and now leads the armor of an IC friend of hers. She's less powerful then Xos or Nexus, but more then Rocho or Tasha. So still very dangerous and has had a number of encounters with other powerful individuals. She's also the most flippant out of all of these. She'd take someone as an apprentice at a moments notice but if they leave her without being told it's a coin-toss for if she'll kill them or leave them alone. She's regularly very Jovial or chipper and there's very little that scares her. She's one of my best combatants and enjoys the heck out of combat. Expect plenty of light-heartedness during almost every moment.
Nexus Krae: More powerful then Salis, but he's also of a particular race, and over twice her age. Nexus is what's called a Vran, a species with an organ inside them which is itself force sensitive (an organ his species genetically created into themselves). It allows an average Vran particular abilities: Either shapeshifting (Ven, which is his race) or telekinesis and physical enhancement (Shi, the most common). An individual who is naturally force sensitive, can then take even greater advantage of the organ. Nexus is one such individual, and the most powerful of his world which got him the title Vran'Ti Vo Ni (given to those sufficiently powerful, proven so, who lead the planet. Vo Ni is the term for a normal one.) Nexus is actually terrified at heart, which he hides. He found an Indipendent SIth Lord and was trained by them until he ultimately killed them. Keeping his name as Darth Tsator in secret from almost everyone. I think under 10 people know total. Most of those were other sith lords, one other is his current apprentice (who he may or may not still treat as an apprentice depending on his actions) and another is a student who is willing to hide that he's a sith lord and carry out his actions for the sake of her world. Nexus believes that the VO (the organ) is basically a soul, so if you don't have it you are little more then an animal. He'll still train you (his other apprentice is also without one) but you will matter much less to him. Nexus is very knowledgable about Sith ways and the force. His preferred weapon is either the force or the use of an alchemized blade, one which also houses a lightsaber blade. That, and he rides a dragon. (It's called a Shgurak, but it's basically a dragon). Nexus is prideful and fearful, but like I said, he hides his fear, and uses it to make himself stronger.
The characters who's personality is the most developed is in this order:
Salis
Rocho/Xos
Tasha
Nexus
I know all of them pretty well. But Salis and Rocho were my first. Xos just fit really well. So Tasha and Nexus are still fairly well developed and I can use them in most situations pretty well.
Well if you would be interested in a more knowledge-oriented and neutral story, you could join the Blackguard, and I could do my best to train you! The Blackguard focuses on gathering knowledge from across the galaxy and learning from it within the confines of their fortress library headquarters. You could certainly partake in your interest in trading things with the Blackguard, as well as learn numerous techniques and combat forms.
