Tumblr is generally my go to for high quality images. There is also a lot of great face claim directories there if your having troubling finding a face for certain characters.
I float around google sometimes if I’m after a certain image or for images to work into signatures/avatars.
hollowart is good for small avatars, nothing extravagant.
