I am Serenity, a former head of the Republic Intelligence Agency. I did fine until I was fired due to change in leadership. It was implied I was dangerous. I can offer my services which include aiding compatible ships with offshoots of my program, monitoring an entire communications network, the running of covert operations in both defense and offense. What you trust me with is what I will do. Life is what you make of it or something like that. These days I just sit in a supercomputer wondering where I went wrong.If nothing else I can just operate a boring body, similar to the shape of you organics. Regardless I tire of sitting in the dark on aging technology.
