- Extended nose allows for increased aerodynamics, giving the Starfighter greater speed over other X-Wings
- Short-style blasters on wings provide more protection from damage and oncoming fire
- The long nose does stick out quite far, and this means the structural integrity of it is weaker then the rest of the ship.
- Due to the incredible speed and maneuverability of the ship, the defense systems have been lowered to run all of the machines.
- With the ship focusing on mainly in-combat speed, the speed of the hyperdrive has been greatly reduced.
The first in many new models being produced by The X-Workshop, the Long Nose X-Wing is the answer to high speed combat situations. Whether you are trying to combat other high speed starfighters, or the need fast response units, the Long Nose is your answer.
Utilizing a new style of blaster cannons, the Long Nose has significantly shorten barrels than most starfighters. This allows for the weapon to have more protection, as it is not such a big target. Less sports to get hit means more damage that can be dealt to the enemy.
With many advanced pieces of tech built onboard as well, the Long Nose is perfect for long range operations and missions. It is capable of supporting the ship and the pilot, without the need of a carrier ship.
