Material: Refined Phrikite core encased in Crystallized Aetherium lattice.
SPECIAL FEATURES
- Aetherium Lattice Conduit: Channels and stabilizes high-density energy flows for seamless Force integration.
- Phrikite Structural Core: Near-unbreakable physical stability, resistant to heat, magnetism, and kinetic trauma.
- Energy Absorption Matrix: Temporarily stores absorbed energy and redirects it through the blade as a high-intensity strike.
- EMP & Ion Resistance: Immune to most electromagnetic disruptions and dampening fields.
- Self-Stabilizing Resonance: Automatically rebalances under duress, maintaining coherent blade structure.
- Reactive Overcharge State: Allows short bursts of enhanced cutting power when the wielder channels Force energy aggressively.
STRENGTHS
- Unmatched Durability: Phrikite core resists fracturing under any physical stress.
- Extreme Conductivity: Aetherium lattice ensures ultra-responsive energy feedback and amplification.
- Energy Burst Potential: Can vent absorbed energy in controlled bursts for offensive surges.
- EMP/Ion Immunity: Highly stable in environments hostile to traditional electronics or lightsaber tech.
- Force-Harmonic Stability: Performs equally well under Light or Dark side channeling.
WEAKNESSES
- Overcharge Risk: Prolonged surges can fracture the Aetherium lattice.
- Heavy Resonance Load: Increased blade density requires greater control and physical endurance.
- Irreplaceable if Shattered: Damaged crystals must be reforged entirely.
- Complex Attunement: Difficult to harmonize with new wielders or emitters.
- Instability Under Excess Force: Overuse of stored energy may cause erratic blade flares.
DESCRIPTION
The Aetherium Phrikite Crystal is a hybrid masterpiece of Lilaste Order metallurgy and Force resonance engineering. Each crystal begins as a shard of Phrikite ore, refined until its molecular structure achieves harmonic purity. This core is then encased in molten Crystallized Aetherium under extreme pressure, where the Aetherium grows into a filament lattice around the phrikite core — forming a perfectly balanced dual-material matrix.
When ignited, the blade manifests as a metallic silver-blue core surrounded by a pulsing teal-violet corona. The coloration shifts subtly depending on the wielder's Force alignment growing bluer under calm focus and burning violet-white during aggressive surges. During overcharge bursts, the blade's edge flares with radiant arcs of teal plasma as excess energy vents from the Aetherium lattice, creating a thunderous hum unique to this crystal type.
The phrikite core grounds the weapon's structural resonance, while the Aetherium lattice amplifies and redistributes energy flows. Together, they form a perfectly unified conduit: stable yet volatile, disciplined yet alive. It is a crystal that rewards balance and punishes recklessness — a physical embodiment of the Lilaste Order's doctrine of measured power and control.
BLADE COLOR
When ignited, a Phrikite Crystal produces a pale silver-white blade threaded with faint amber undertones that ripple along the plasma's edge like liquid metal. Under normal conditions, the blade maintains a soft argent glow — clean, sharp, and almost mirrorlike in its reflection. When the wielder channels greater amounts of Force energy or engages in sustained combat, fine veins of golden-orange current flicker through the beam, intensifying its brightness and giving the impression of molten light running through tempered steel.
In dim environments, the blade's core emits a muted, heatless shimmer that briefly illuminates metallic surfaces in bronze hues, evoking the glow of a forge at rest. The saber's hum carries a deeper resonance than most, echoing faintly with a metallic timbre — a subtle reminder of the ore's phrik origins and its bond to craftsmanship and endurance.
