Private Living La Vena Loca

There would be no subterfuge, no mind games. This one was simply too powerful and dangerous to be given the chance to retaliate, he would have but a single chance. Aaron Blidre simply lacked the ability to confront someone so steeped in the Force for more than a few precious moments, and today's target would no doubt be more than capable of predicting the violence after moments of seeing him. Looking like that waste of space Darlyn would be of no use to him here, no doubt.

It was for that reason that he had come to Vena, quietly, without drawing attention to himself. His black robes were worn with the hood up, and he made every effort to keep his face as shadowed and hidden as possible on the journey to hunt down the girl that called him family. The unmodified blaster and yellow lightsaber were hidden from view by his robes as he departed, and began to make his way towards the residence of Adara Raxis Adara Raxis . His ears, eyes, and force senses reached out to try and pick out every living thing within his reach, and thus how he quickly learned what he needed to be doing.

He vicious grin graced his lips as he found the presence of someone drenched in darkness. Yes this would be simple to follow, he chuckled to himself as he meandered along his way. Out and out, until finding himself approaching what would seem to be a picnic... Blanket, food, and the young lovebirds Adara and Tuuli Miles Tuuli Miles . There was a moment, brief as it was, that Aaron reconsidered, out of sudden pity for one or both of the children or for his own safety it was hard to say. The moment would, of course, pass as he finally reached a close enough distance there was no way to hide. A gust of wind, gentle as it was, managed to send his hood back enough to show the barest hints of his face as he drew the blaster from its hidden space.

Without a word, he took aim at the both of them and fired a burst of shots, not caring who or what he hit.

“Irliade?” Adara couldn’t help the bashful grin, as she poured juice into two tea cups sequestered from the kitchens at her Palace, and set one saucer and all beside her beloved Tuuli. Between the battle of Wayland, her friend Stabby’s wounds, and Amma & Fred Gred Fred Gred running around twiterpated, Adara longed for one day, a few golden hours, where she could escape.

Her Mandalorian grandfather Adenn Kyramud Adenn Kyramud confused the Arch-Duchess once more, when he refused to leave her murdered body on the ground. What was family, but a constant source of interconnected worries and debts? Her father taught her the mortals were liars living in self-inflicted fantasies of mediocrity. Only family built on blood would survive the inferno of the Galaxy’s temptations.

“Sandwich, my sweet pirate?” She buried such thoughts for the night when they inevitably crept upon her, clothed in gossamer under the comfort of her many soft sheets. For now Adara had her Tuuli Miles Tuuli Miles , and a host of cucumber, and curried fowl salad sandwiches. A bit of civility for the two teenaged loves, placed in the picnic basket beside the blanket where Adara leaned on one elbow, and tempted Tuuli with another sandwich square. Adara bit her bottom lip, nose descended toward her Tuuli’s. How soft did his lips feel? Would her blush ignite and consume them in a heatwave? Maybe she ought to aim for his cheek… how soft was his cheek? The moment was perfect, but for a growing sense of foreboding in the back of her mind.

No, she would not let the revelation of her Zambrano blood to Clan Mortui’s Alor temper her lunch with Tuuli. Perhaps if she allowed the usual vigilance, Adara would have sensed more than an oncoming bit of bad omen before Aaron raised his blaster.

The blaster bolts peppered the picnic blanket. Two bolts hit Adara square. One in the left shoulder, which wrenched her shoulder back and revealed centre mass. Two smoking hole burned through spidersilk dress, the chemise underneath.

The air filled with burnt meat. Adara’s body rag-dolled backward, head slammed and bounced off the grass. Black and red eyes open to the universe.

Stillness broke across the meadow with the remains of a scattered cucumber sandwich and a kiss ungiven.

The grass beneath the blanket shifted from verdant to the brittle grey of immolated ash. Adara’s body bucked, back arched as her head lolled back, mouth slack. The grey ground spread in seconds to Aaron’s feet, shockingly cold as a winter’s frost.

A gasping breath gurgled out of Adara’s lungs, as her head snapped back toward her chest. Her sneer of cold command bespoke more of Aaron’s failure to destroy the girl he knew of, but had never seen.

“Uncle..” Adara’s eyes squinted. She pushed herself up to her elbows, the innocence of a stilted kiss breaking in shales for what she knew all along.

Family, those fallen creatures, knew nothing but the same betrayal which killed her mother months before. The darkness Aaron sensed previously seemed to treble, quadruple from the girl as the air frosted and springtime on Vena discintegrated to a teenaged niece’s grief.

“This is the envoy the Silver Jedi sends? You?” It was the only grace of time she would give him, as the chill in the air seeped deeper into the Lord of Lies’ daughter, and repaired both bolt wounds before the failed assassin’s eyes.

Tuuli was lounging beside Adara on a picnic blanket smiling as she offered him a sandwich turning to take it even as he felt the force around him surge up from its peaceful everyday tune to a sudden seeming scream to those who had awareness of it. Moving without realizing it the young pirate went from lounging to a one handed hand stand within seconds feeling the heat from blaster bolts searing the flesh of his hand even as he felt through the force Adara getting hit. His normally blue and violet mismatched eyes flashed one crimson the other gold as he suddenly pushed off flipping through the air even as he drew on the force using it in tandem with his feet to push off three times landing on the ground between Adara and where the shots had come from. He landed in a crouch and drew his hand across the ground causing it to surge upward as he exerted his will upon it through the force. Recently he had taken to training alongside those Shapers of Kro Var that had been hidden for longer than memory could serve. Finding that he was at home with the earth and surrounding ground he was able to exert his will upon it. His hand slowly rose up bringing up a portion of the ground until it was high enough to hide his crouched form glancing back towards Adara he sighed as he saw that she was fine.

Song flavoring for next set.

Tuuli than turned forward and started to move again drawing on the force to fill his body and enhance his abilities the young Pirate Prince leapt over the waist high wall and started to dart forward one hand held out to the side. As he moved he started to gather the force around his hand before leaping to avoid any attacks while throwing his hand forward. As his hand came forward the earth seemed to move before a trio of rugged earth spears seemed to launch themselves forward and across the ground towards where he felt the attacker was hidden. He finished the movement by landing in a crouch and sliding across the ground slamming his hand into it palm down causing a series of spikes to start erupting from the ground pointed straight up around where his spears were targeted extending roughly 6 feet to any side from the main target area.

"Not my best idea, should've gone with Lightning." Aaron grumbled as he watched the bolts find their mark, only to be fully repaired before his eyes. And the boy was also sensitive, he hadn't noticed it on approach due to his own single minded attention to Adara, but now watching the earth itself bend to his will he understood the dangerous situation he'd put himself in. Already his mind was plotting an escape route, back to the city where he could steal his way off world quickly. Before such a plan could be concocted however, Adara had addressed him directly, and the boy moved to engage.

Aaron followed through on his casual mention of Lightning by releasing a full powered blast at Tuuli Miles Tuuli Miles , which was immediately avoided and reciprocated near instantly. The trio of spikes were the first threat, and quickly followed by another in the form of rising spikes. Realizing he would be effectively trapped if he remained grounded, Aaron surged the Force into his legs, and pushed up off the ground to leave it far behind. On the way up, one of the stone spears caught his leg, not impaling it but scraping the skin. The cut was not deep but the pain and blood was instantly going to be a problem for his escape.

Now up in the air, he had another clear shot, and he decided to try again. This time, flames kissed his fingertips instead of lightning, and he gave his best grin to Adara Raxis Adara Raxis . "I came here on my own, because you needed to learn a lesson. You were never family to me." This really was a dangerous game he was playing, as he sent a stream of fire from him at Adara, and the boy if he wanted to take the fall for her this time.

Adara coughed from her hands and knees, settled her weight back, so she could stretch out her arms and pectorals. Tears poured down her cheeks, as her flesh reknit. Eventually, her body’s rejuvenation would be mastered, and such pains would be irrelevant. A learner as she was, Adara’s talents had the drawbacks of the young. She sucked in a massive breath, eyes blurred from her pained tears, and searched for Tuuli Miles Tuuli Miles . Off he’d gone without a word. Tuuli’s protective nature gave Adara the chance to recover before joining the fight. Another of the many reasons she adored him.

As Adara choked on her reconstructing rib cage, the lips which had been pursed in mid-kiss curved downward. Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron tried to kill her. Uncle Darlyn, the only one she’d ever seen be gentle with her mother. Pick her up like a child, cuddle her in the safety of family. And she’d let him.

The man her mother trusted to the point of being truly vulnerable was now attempting to end Yasha’s firstborn. Nails dug into the ground as Adara growled. As her body finished its’ painful healing. No force power would cure the burn of Darlyn’s betrayal.

Papa Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis was right. Those who proclaimed moral high ground were bereft. She was the cursed child to them, and now that her mother was a husk in a Vong shell, any childhood protection was gone. But she had Tuuli, whose crimson and gold eyes peered back to ensure she was alive. A single flicker of time passed, Adara sought and found the worry in him. The risen anger, which came from the controlled earth of his shaper powers.

“Never!? I suppose Auburn Sioda Auburn Sioda is the same, a false friend offering companionship as a ruse?” Fire spread from Aaron to the ground by Adara. It burned round her, yet the flames touched none of the teenager’s presence.

“I see she finally taught you your Anam birthright, Uncle.” Adara spat, her arm swung, and a layer of air swept the flames aside before she was harmed. “Fire, against me!? You think I’d have Amma in my Palace if I had no ability to control her inadvertent pyrotechnics? Where is your mind!?”

Adara’s voice faltered by the end, it grew and grew in timbre, deepened until the air around her spilled with an ink-like black. She chased after Aaron on a diagonal from Tuuli, an attempt to break Aaron’s attentions between two separate targets. Her anger welled and boiled over, as the veins around her eyes turned as black as the air round her, and three Dark Tendrils erupted from her hand, chasing after.

“... blood?” While Darlyn’s powers were a mystery to Adara, she did know one prominent thing: the man was a Master of Force Body. Was Tuuli truly that powerful to break a Master’s skin?

A shadow zoomed from a distance, a draconian roar far on the wind.
