Special Features:
- Glistaweb silk provides excellent resistance to blasters, which has been historically attested by numerous Yuuzhan Vong soldiers during the war with the galaxy at large during their extra-galactic invasion some seven hundred years prior to current day. The material carries a neutral charge-negating field which reflects blaster bolts.
- Shell Spider Silk, while an expensive addition, is capable of resisting limited contact from vibroblades and light blaster pistols. This grants some limited resistance from glancing blows received by sharp weapons, but any direct "chop" or slash, as well as any stabs, would simply tear through this material like any silk.
- Tikulini are famous for their lightsaber resistant skin, and the leather made from it with the soothing touch of Sith alchemy is no different. Although not designed to withstand sustained contact with lightsabers, as seen with many products carried by combat clothing manufacturers galaxy-wide, the leather provides ample protection for indirect strikes and glancing blows. Any sustained contacts would render the leather useless, as with the skin below it.
- Terentatek are fierce apex predators that hunt what were once thought to be the indisputable apex of the galaxy - force users, Sith and Jedi alike. Fortunately for the Kuhn family, Silara (Lily's mother), was capable of taming the beast through an ability gained via Sith alchemy and retained what equated to a farm of the beasts (which was started with numerous purposes of neutered beasts from AEL). The leather made from two elder Terentateks, combined with a light exposure to sith alchemy, was used for the belt and pouch in the outfit, designed to dampen the senses of force users to both prevent the identification for what might be within and to prevent theft. Any artifact that would give off a considerable aura of the force would, of course, be noticed even when tucked within the pouch, and any competent force user worth their salt would be plenty capable of retrieving the pouch, and perhaps the belt too, with the force. This provides no resistance to the force beyond mild anti-theft and the muddling of force senses directed at it and its contents.
Description:
Much to the disdain of her father and sister, Alric and Rose Kuhn, Lily inherited a taste for the finer things in life, more specifically expensive clothing. Though her father was more than 'happy' to provide the then-young teenager with connections to having a private wardrobe made for her, it wasn't until several years later - around the time just before her parents made their grand disappearance and became presumed dead - that these connections culminated in the creation of her own private line of clothing.
This particular set of clothing was designed for more casual occasions, though it was still made with materials suitable for protection such a wealthy heiress. Beneath all of the articles of clothing is a cream-colored glistaweb silken shirt which, if the exterior layers of clothing are pierced through, will reflect blaster bolts and other similar types of weapons. Above that is a golden corset with embossing across the bottom half that is made of Tikulini leather, designed to protect against stray lightsaber strikes and glancing blows. Over her shoulders is a sleeveless green shrug made of shell spider silk which can repel limited strikes from vibroblades and blaster weaponry. The maroon sleeves that come down her arms from beneath the shrug are made of glistaweb. The belts at her hip are created from the terentatek leather, as is the purse resting on the lower belt. The pants are, again, made of glistaweb, while the boots are made of Tikulini leather. Several of these outfits, enough to fill a closet, were produced at Lily Kuhn's behest, and she assisted in the portion of the manufacturing that required the help of an alchemist.
A single, separate, hooded cloak (sleeveless, chest-length), was provided and made from the remaining glistaweb.
