PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Saberstaff
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Cortosis: Unlike standard Lightsaber, the saberstaff of Cyrus Teraah can resist and cut through Cortosis with little difficulty.
  • Dual Phase Functionality: Cyrus has the ability to extend or shorten his lightsaber in combat, allowing him to surprise opponents at a moments notice of sudden change.
WEAKNESSES
  • Fragile: While built using Durasteel, Cyrus's preferred combat forms relying on mobility means that his saberstaff must be easy and quick in his hands, and therefore its actual armored protection is minimal. Any strong directed strike to the center of the saberstaff can shatter it in two.
  • Water: Due to his general dislike and fear of water, Cyrus did not feel a need to add a Bifurcating Cyclical Ignition pulse, preventing him from using his weapon in any underwater situation.
DESCRIPTION
Upon becoming the Apprentice of The Shaper, Cyrus set out to create his own weapon to help protect him, both from any threats the galaxy might send his way, as well as the surprise tests his master seemed to delight in. Against his masters wishes as well, Cyrus chose to create a saberstaff weapon, having come to appreciate the functionality and options the blade offered to a highly agile and mobile fighter like him. Using what funds and resources his master allowed him, Cyrus constructed the weapon. The only aid The Shaper provided his new apprentice was procuring Kyber Crystals from Mestare rather than elsewhere in the galaxy, suggesting they would work best for what was to come.
