Private Life on canvas

Iandre nodded, pleased they agreed on that much.

"Did you ever prevent any during the Clone Wars?" she asked with genuine curiosity. "I don't mean the war itself. I don't think either of us could have stopped something that large."

She smiled faintly, remembering.

"My Master and I managed to stop a few skirmishes before they became battles." Her gaze drifted for a moment. "Nothing history would remember. Just local disputes that might have claimed lives if someone hadn't stepped in."

She looked back to Nolan.

"I've always thought those quiet victories mattered just as much as the famous ones."

“I did stop the republic from occupying mandalore” he sighed “my loyalty was to the Jedi and mandalore not the republic I was one of the few Jedi that disagreed with the Jedi serving the republic and not the people of the galaxy”

Iandre listened without interrupting, considering his words before giving a slow nod.

"I can understand that." Her voice was thoughtful rather than argumentative. "The Republic and the Jedi were never meant to become the same thing. We served the people first. Sometimes that meant working alongside the Republic...and sometimes it meant questioning it."

She held the palette lightly in her hands.

"Loyalty can be complicated." A small smile touched her lips. "You were trying to honor both the Order and your home. I don't think there's anything wrong with that."

Her expression softened.

"The important question, at least to me, is whether the people of Mandalore were better off because of your decision." She tilted her head slightly. "If they were...then I'd say you followed the very heart of what it means to be a Jedi."

“mandolore has survived for thousands of years and even though the empire destroyed our civilization we refused to give up” Nolan sighed remembering what he had heard from a smuggler about what happened to mandalore he wished he could’ve been there to help his people but he came to terms with the reality that if he did try to help then he would’ve died

Iandre's expression softened with understanding. She knew what it was like to wish you could have been somewhere, to wonder if your presence might have changed history.

"The Mandalorians were our allies back then." she said quietly. "I've never had any reason to think poorly of them."

She looked down at the palette in her hands for a moment.

"Even in this era, I worked alongside a Mandalorian before the government I belonged to fell." A faint, bittersweet smile appeared. "It was the same government my husband helped lead. We didn't always agree on everything, but I trusted him with my life, and he trusted me with his."

Her eyes returned to Nolan.

"Your people have endured more than most civilizations ever should." She nodded respectfully. "The fact that Mandalore still stands, despite everything that's been taken from it, says a great deal about the people who call it home."

Iandre smiled and gave a small nod.

"Not just resilient." She looked at him thoughtfully. "Loyal. I've always admired that about the Mandalorians."

A curious expression crossed her face.

"Can I ask you something?" She shifted the palette in her hands. "How exactly do the clans work these days?" A quiet laugh escaped her. "I worked alongside Mandalorians, but I never truly took the time to understand how they organized themselves. I know the names of some clans, of course, but I never learned how decisions were made or how everyone fit together."

Her smile remained warm.

"I'd be interested to hear it from someone who actually lives it."

“Since the near extinction of mandalore our queen Bo katan of house kryze decided that we would be stronger if we were all one single clan and there was no objection so from that day on we are now known simply as clan mythosaur”

Iandre listened with genuine interest, though by the time Nolan finished, a faint smile had found its way to her face.

She gave her head a gentle shake.

"That isn't the case anymore." she said kindly. "When I first arrived in this era, I learned the clans had begun standing on their own again."

She thought back to the Mandalorians she'd come to know.

"House Kryze remains respected, but the clans have returned. They're united when they need to be, yet each has its own identity once more." She smiled. "The last I knew, the Mand'alor was Aether the Iron of House Verd."

Her expression grew thoughtful.

"The galaxy has a habit of changing while we're away." A quiet chuckle escaped her. "Sometimes catching up feels like the hardest part of living in this era."
