WEAKNESSES
  • First Attempt: Because this is Liddaat's first attempt at an organic anything, it is not good for much.

  • Da Force: Ysalamiri and voidstones (not bloodstones autocorrect!) will cause the vehicle to stop flying.
DESCRIPTION
Liddaat's "ship" is a smallish sphere, used to travel in atmosphere. It can't really travel out of atmosphere due to the fact that its foliage is not airtight, and it has no weapons or defenses, but it is very fast and maneuverable. It is recommended that a pilot trains in it beforehand
due to the unique shape and features. She created it using the Force in a way Viridian taught her. She used the Force to grow the wroshyr into a spherical shape. It's not Biotech, but it's not necessarily Alchemy, either. It uses the Force, so it could be considered Alchemy, but the way I imagine it made is similar to how I imagine the Yuuzhan Vong shaping their biotech. She is still testing it out.

Why hello there, first Factory submission? If so, I'll do my best to guide you through the process.

First of all, I would actually suggest switching over to the Vehicle template, since this is in-atmosphere only. If you do decide to go with that option, which is probably advisable, I'd be happy to move this to the appropriate forum for you. Regardless, there are some other things to look at too:
  • Your Image Source isn't the worst, but I believe "Anders Sandberg, via Orion's Arm" would be better. It's who I believe to be the original source.
  • Please link Wroshyr Wood under Materials, assuming that's the material you meant.
  • I'd recommend a bit more of a description, especially in regards to how it was made - Alchemy, perhaps, or some kind of Biotech? Is it more in the Wookie camp of using wood/foliage but also regular technology? Is it made of separate components or a single organism, somehow?
  • I'd recommend making the Extreme Speed and Maneuverability a Strength.
P.S. If you decide to switch to the Vehicle template, keep in mind that the Out of Character Information section is identical, as is Production Information, with the exception of the Modularity field, which would have to be added. Standard/Special Features merge into Advanced Features. Technical Information changes completely and would have to be redone.

P.S.S. Currently, this is six ratings underpowered (comp.), just so you are aware. Seems this is likely intentional, however, given that this is more a test project than anything else. If, in the future, you aim for balanced but not overbalanced I'd recommend the spreadsheets in the various Templates.

I'd appreciate moving it. Thanks. I'm kinda(aka really) nervous about this lol. Yeah it's my first...I hope I don't screw up lol.
And yeah I'll redo it. And I will say, since this is Liddaat's first thing, it's not surprising that it's so underpowered, so I guess it was kinda intentional?

Not to worry, I'm sure we'll be able to make this work. First of all, let's make sure we get the template right. You are missing the "Modularity" field between Model and Production; this could simply be "No." or "N/A", though you could also add something else, say, "With some effort, Liddaat may reshape the internal accommodations." Additionally, please remove "Advanced Systems" and rename "Standard Features" to "Special Features".

Moving on, you'll have to choose one rating for each category, I made a suggestion in the spoiler below. As you see, you could easily raise, say, Cargo Capacity to Low or Average or even High while remaining balanced. It really is up to you.

Now to get down to the nitty-gritty.
  • Wroshyr Wood is misspelt, you may want to correct that. The link is correct, however, so it's not a big deal.
  • For classification, I'd honestly go with "Airspeeder-analogue", as it's basically an airspeeder but weird and organic.
  • You'd probably want to expand at least a bit on how "organic repulsorlift" works. Is it fuelled by the Force, or something analogous to a Dovin Basal (without the defensive uses, given the Defences rating), or does it function exactly like normal repulsorlift does but organic?
    • If it's the Force, keeping it vague and slapping on a weakness against certain anti-Force stuff would be a-OK by me.
  • Passenger Capacity need not be one specific number, necessarily, "1-5" would work just fine. Can reflect the difference between being comfortable, like in most shuttles, and being crammed in, like in, say, the LAAT.
  • I'd really like you to expand a bit more on how this was made, given how rare organic tech like this is in SW; it's not unprecedented however, and this is quite the balanced submission, so just do your best, I'm sure it will be fine.
