- All terrain: The extra tread of this half track make crossing most terrain easier, along with steep slops and shallow flood water.
- Strong Shell: Though primarily for Law Enforcement HLCS still equipped the LEV-1 with military grade armor, meaning this half track is not easy to kill.
- Non-Lethal: As requested by the client the LEV's armament does not have the ability to kill targets, its cannon can only shoot on the stun setting.
- Blocked Way: Unlike Walkers or other heavy equipment the LEV does have trouble with road block and other obstruction, mines included.
Though more suited in the production of military craft for open market use HCLI does often take custom order from certain affluent or rich clients. For this new series of tracked ground craft Harley was commissioned by [member="Ultimatum"] to create a line of vehicles suite for police user, able to deal with rioters and crowds, but no be on par with military vehicles. The first in this line of Law Enforcement Vehicles was the LEV-1 Rapid Response, a APC/combat car about to carry a small squad of police fat and efficiency while also being armed with a FAW laser cannon. Said cannon being made with the ability to only use the stun setting as requested
Operating Use
As suggested in the name the LEV is for rapid response, fast and able to traverse rough terrain while keeping a modest amount of men on board. For the most part HLSC designed the craft to be a quick deployment riot van, it's stun cannon providing a huge boon to those using it, but without the lethal part. If need be, or if the they a slow enough the LEV can be used in chases to bloc off a suspects rout of escape.
Defense Spec
Though asked to make the new line of craft not able to engage military assets with similar fire power nothing was said about the armor. As such the LEV has the standard composite armor that most HLCI ground righting craft have. This means even if the LEV cannon attack most military grade vehicles it can sure take a log of punishment in return. Even still if the LEV is used for civil unrest and other police duties such armor had no immediate threat, unless insurgents with heavy weapons are involved.
