Kuat Drive Yards
Driven To Excel

The Toryaz Station... again being used. Its first re-use was a failure with the Silver Jedi, the first negotiation that would change Kuat Drive Yards future. The Commenor Agreement had fallen through faster than ever anticipated, long before its impact could affect Kuat Drive Yards. They were threatened, attacked, and then invaded until ultimately becoming enslaved with foe 'treaties' by the Sith Empire. Ferron was doing what he could. But even with the great machines he had built, he just couldn't man them enough to have ever made any significant impact in the war to save Commenor. It was time to look elsewhere. The Republic, was an option, as long as Ferron still wanted a galactic presence, although with the dark forces blanketing much of the galaxy, he had to think about his employees, and the planet he protected. Would it all be worth it? What if it backfired?
Ferron was absolutely disgruntled by the decisions of the Silver Jedi, but the Kuat people did have some fond memories of the Republic, before they had become the Empire. One only hoped it wouldn't become that again. As per usual, Toryaz Station was being prepared once more for intergalactic negotiations, not knowing when it would be held for celebrations of peace again. The Stations and Fleets working under the Kuat Traffic Control were informed of the possible Republic visit, the checkpoint security stations told to allow them through after proving identification, and then would be escorted to Toryaz station. It was informal, but made to protect the Republic representatives. Ferron always wanted to make sure their visitors were safe, and felt safe, even in foreign space.
