Jabiim , High Rock Canyon Spaceport | Triellus Trade Route | [member="Neo Calix"]

Delila had never stepped foot on Jabiim and quickly found out why. It was nothing but a constant deluge of wind and rain. Humidity stayed in the air but it wasn't a warm, thick humidity. The air was a damp cold, causing her to shiver despite having a jacket on. Typically she would have looked to [member="Xin Boa"] and mention how quick they would need to leave. Xin (and Skreech) was absent however, on another run with the Dahlia down another trade route. Delila had her own project going on, having rented a Shantual-class cargo shuttle to try out. If she and Xin were to expand then something else beyond the Dahlia was going to have to be in order.

So far the vessel was clunky and slow. Yet it held a feth-ton of cargo. Enough to make the fuel worth it and put a little credit in her pocket. Credits were always a good thing when one wasn't sure what job was coming down the pipeline next.

Standing outside the shuttle, Dells stuffed her hands in her pockets, mist sticking to her hair. Keen eyes were watching droids unload crate after crate. Another shiver as she looked around the spaceport. Non-locals were moving about hurriedly, not acclimated to the odd weather. She wasn't acclimated. Mental debate started if it would be rude to tell the droids to hurry up.

Neo had been bouncing from planet to planet over the last couple of years, finding nothing that caught his attention, he had hid as a fugitive from the first order for almost 2 months now, he had defected over a lovely young lady he had met and fallen head over heels for, she was shot. Long story short Neo had become quite the master of hiding in plain sight.

He never stayed anywhere very long. He was always hiding his face under either a hood if he were on a shady planet or under a fedora if he were dressed to fit in on a big city planet, this night it was a hood, the mist stuck to his hair that hung out from under his hood. He looked around the spaceport trying to find a way off this planet.

I need to buy another sweater.

Delila was a heat loving girl. Typically most of the planets she visited were temperate to blazing hot. Normal planets. Why was the rain so cold? If it was this cold, why didn't it snow? Didn't the droids rust out here? If one could stand the temperatures a droid repair shop would keep someone in the credits for a long, long time. Preventative maintenance alone would be a fortune.

Shiver racked her body again. Eyes caught a tuft of redhair from a boy walking in the spaceport. She naturally did what every redhead did ; give a nod. A bit of acknowledgement to the fellow ginger, as if to say I see you. Not many fellow gingers out this way, probably an offworlder or a child of an offworlder who had moved to Jabiim.

Neo would look around and note the nod of the fellow redhead, he knew that most of the time redheads had a bond that was strange, they would help ech other if they could so he approached her, he shook from the cold. "Hey there"

Blue eyes sized up the scrawny kid. Delila saw these types at every spaceport she had visited. Typically kids drifted away from home, looking for work. At least the smart ones were looking for work. Others sold various drugs or themselves. Beyond being skinny, the kid didn't look like a drug dealer, at least not a hard core one.

"Hey. You looking to take on work? I don't have a return shipment yet...never leave a dock empty handed though."
