Let the hunt begin [Bounty on Spencer Jacobs]

Nar'Shadaa had memories, wonderful, wonderful memories. Spencer never really showed up here unless there was something worthwhile like information or on the off chance that someone is hunting for her. It was curious, she never really had experienced a bounty hunt since she was the First Apprentice to the Empress of the Sith Darth Desimus. That ended well for her, the hunters realized that the Empress was never too far from her Apprentice. This time around it wasn't too different. A brunette woman poked her head through the curtains at the cantina, she had learned Mask from Ashin Varanin during their studies. Her face looking nothing like the face of the images the hunters probably have seen, though Spencer knew she hadn't perfected the skill so her face was eerily similar to her natural - who are we kidding...Spencer's face was exactly the same and she was only capable of changing her hair color. Though, no one knew this and she could probably easily pass as another person.

She made visual contact of Ashin and it seemed she had found those that were looking for her. Either way, she was already signed up and embedded into the perfect hiding role: Dancer at a Cantina. The music started to play and she looked over at the Pa'lowick who started to sing a rather groovy tune. Suddenly a heavy hand slapped her on her rear end and she turned quickly as the outfit she wore jingled. "Get out thar now!" Nodding she stumbled onto the stage in all of her grace. Spencer stood there for a moment and then like magic her hips started to sway to the beat and her hand gripped the cold pole. Thus the dance began and Spencer couldn't remember where or why she knew how to the acrobats as she spun and flipped to the beat.

The new dancer caught the attention of almost everyone in the cantina. Nomad watched for a short time before leaving. The dancer seemed familiar but Nomad shrugged it off as he was just tired.

Once he had made his way outside he started looking for his partner [member="Hailey Williams"].

After spending several minutes looking for Hailey he went back into the cantina. 'She might be in something important, I won't call her.' he thought to himself. The cantina had a few less people and the same dancer was still dancing. 'She must be popular' he thought. As old people left and new people walked in, he continued to sit in a corner for what seemed like hours but in reality it was only a few minutes. He fell into a light sleep. His head rested on his shoulder. His mind started wondering while in the sleep.

A bounty hunter's mind had a unique resonance while on the job, but that wasn't how Ashin found the Nautolan. No, when she sat down beside him in companionable silence and pressed the barrel of her heavy blaster pistol to his left floating ribs, it was because he and his partner had spent a pretty serious amount of time trying to spread the word. And while he'd missed her announcement to the cantina, the cantina had not missed her announcement to the cantina. From there, all it took was a thought, or a composite of thoughts: people trying not to look at the Nautolan when he came back in; people trying not to look at her.

"My name's Ashin," she said quietly, blaster unwavering in its pressure on his side. "I hear you've got eight hundred million reasons to go looking for my wife. We should talk about that."

Hailey had been waiting patiently for her little helper to return. When he finally did, the little guy said he was told the woman they were looking for was rumored to be gracing a certain cantina with her presence. Her eyes widened when she realized that cantina was the one her partner was in.

Hailey handed the child a few credits and dawned on her mask. It was show time, or at least she hoped. Quickly dawning on her mask, the active camouflage of her mirage armor helped her to blend almost seemlessly into the surroundings. Pulling up her newly acquired SS-7 rifle, Hailey set her dart up for two portions of sedatives. She wanted to make sure the target would go down quickly and stay down.

After that, she pulled out her pistol to make sure it was set to stun. The contract after all, said the target has to be taken alive and undamaged. The last thing she did was activate her sheer silence, and no show devices. Now she was all but invisible to all but the most powerful sensors, the most observant people, and even force users would have a difficult time. Though granted not nearly as much as everything else. And even then, she had one last trick up her sleeve.

Satisfied her equipment was in proper working order, she ghosted her way back to the cantina. While she moved she began counting card hands in her head. It was amazing how playing pazaak made it so much more difficult for even a force user to pick up on problems.

Upon reaching the cantina, she didn't immediately enter. Instead opting to see what she could discover from the relative safety of outside the building. What she saw disappointed her. Was that really her partner napping...with a pistol now aimed at his head? Hailey didn't recognize the woman now speaking to Nomad. It was then realization dawned on her. "Could this be the targets wife?" She thought momentarily to herself.

A feral smile began to work its way onto Hailey's face as she began counting cards again. Raising her rifle up, she took aim at [member="Ashin Varanin"] . It didn't take long for the huntress to get a fix on the target. A couple seconds later, a patron exiting the cantina opened the doors. This was her chance!

Without a single sound audible to anyone but herself thanks to her sheer silence unit, Hailey fired her dart at the woman preoccupied with her partner.

Nomad awoke fairly quickly with the blaster pressed against his ribs. He felt a small lump of fear start to build in the back off his throat. He tried not to show his his fear and stared back to the woman. "So what if I am?" Nomad said back said. He was most likely just going to make things worse.

He started thinking of ways to try and get out. 'I could try and run, but I'll get shot. I can try... no point anything I will do I will most likely get shot one way or another'

A bounty hunter could have all the expensive gear in the world, the perfect situation on a silver platter, and a distracted target -- and still not have the experience to make the shot count. The double-loaded tranq dart slammed into Ashin's cheek.

She'd spent fifteen years battling five kinds of Sith poison, a fight that had changed the course of her life more than once. She had a pretty decent claim to knowing everything ever learned about controlling incapacitation agents. But half her face went instantly numb, neck too, right down the the collarbone, and neutralizing the toxin took the full measure of her focus that she allotted to the Force.

All the expensive gear in the world, the perfect situation on a silver platter, and a distracted target still couldn't make it a good idea to shoot someone who had a gun embedded in your partner's ribs.

The heavy blaster pistol had been set to stun, or Nomad might be waxing nostalgic for his liver right about now.

When the shot hit the Woman's face Nomad jumped and fell off his chair. The only problem is the stun shot still hit his right side. He felt his arm and leg fall limp.

With the discharge of weapons most of the patrons panicked and left in chaos.

He knew it was Hailey that had fired the round off and he wouldn't let that be for nothing. He slowly felt pins and needles move so he would have to make it quick. He released a pathetic blast of kinetic energy at his target, it wasn't even enough to stop a womp rat. Nomad then clutched his side, a few seconds after that he collapsed unconscious.
