Learning from Basics

-- He heard their voices and sounds of all those around him. In truth he did not mind being where he was at the moment, and it was a refreshing experience. The nice lady on Alderaan taught him some things, but it only made him more interested in this idea of the "Force". He referred to it as the Winds and the Guiding Hand, but there had to be more to this Force everyone spoke of.

-- Jaster wondered the galaxy, from one place to another. Hitching rides and having unimaginably luck with good people that helped him along the way. Maybe it was the space he was in, people often stated that someone called the Silver Jedi was in charge of protecting this region of space. He remembered that the Lady that helped him was a Jedi. Where they one in the same?

-- His mind drifted back to his current place in the universe, the soft floor he was wondering on was now solid metal. He was lucky as the guards accepted the scan he offered as a Representative of the Silver Jedi Order. That was a strange encounter as he had no memory of visiting a place like this before. However, the connection to this so called Force only grew thinner, as if many individuals were drawing on the same amount of energy within these halls. It was interesting to have this feeling of many sources of Winds around him. The changing of the winds and forced purity on their state of being was a little disturbing however.

-- He stood in the hallways of the Silver Rest, and then decided to sit down and feel the force around him. The bench he sat on was cooling and felt dead to the force to others. However, to Jaster it was very much alive, though inactive. The bonds that held it together moved so faintly that some could mistaken it for no longer part of the Force. However, if he learned anything from the nice lady from before, it was that everything around us was one with the Force. The only thing he could not understand why someone would need to purify the elements of life to use or be used by the flows of the winds. As he closed his eyes he could fell all those around him training, moving, and excising with the use of the Force. However, it was not the Winds he was use to, it was pure, untainted, simplified. He was use to the natural chaos around him, nothing as predictable and organized as what he was feeling here. It was so strange.

-- He opened his eyes and just stared at the wall, "The Force is not like the Winds....." He took off his hood and scratched his head. "What is this Force she told me about?"

-- Jaster as he took off his hood showed off his Cybernetic Components, from the right side bridge of his nose to the back of his skull was a silver-like metallic plate with a red eye piece where his eye should be. and his neck was also made of metallic components. The bit he was scratching was made of metal and the hand he used was also metal. It was a phantom scratch, but none the less he was a little lost on where to go next for information.

As he walked throughout the halls of the Silver Rest, coming straight from the Jedi Holographic Training Center in a lesson from Master McClaine, something strange caught Kresslyn's attention. He didn't see whatever it was, but he felt it. The crowd that was bustling seemed distant now and isolated. The Younglings heading to their classes, the Knights trying to keep them all in order, the Elderly Masters trying to keep them in one straight line, and the busy Padawans heading to training all silenced at a moment's notice.

When he finally shut them all out, one strange feeling called out to him. A hooded man sat alone on a bench. He seemed very lost, but something about his energy seemed old. An old soul that was seeking something. A body that was used by the force as a method of transportation. A natural teacher encapsuled inside of whoever this man was.

Without further hesitation, Kresslyn approached the man that was now scratching his head and speaking to himself and extended an arm out to him, being sure to greet him with a greeting smile yet stern tone of voice.

"Hello there... I haven't seen you around here but it seems like you're searching for something. Mind if I help you find it?" he asked the man, waiting for a response.

-- Jaster only looked at the plant next to him as he wondered what his role in the greater galaxy was to be. The mistress of the forest informed him of all he was to be and more with the use of the Force. However, he did not want to use the Force, it was a kind manifestation of his hopes and dreams, emotions and history, a cradle for his future. The flow of time was curved with the winds of the Force, yet the winds he felt were different no matter where he went.

-- It was at this time while he was lost in thought his mind was jolted back to reality with the presences of a young man. The connection to the world around him was untrained in the arts of purifying the Force around him. However, a strong connection did flow through him with great hopes to one day control that flow very well. The refining methods here were different to the forest of Alderraan and the Mistress. This however was a very accepting environment, strange in its aura with the development of purity. This group seemed bend on the purification of the Force from all elements that did not fit their understanding. However, what was the understanding.

-- He looked at the young man, cocking his head to one side. Realizing he was being rude and straitened up, "Apologies, I am looking to understand the Force, would that be something you can help me with?"

The man took a while to respond to him, indicating that he must've been deep in thought when Kresslyn approached him. He wanted to learn. He wanted to understand the force. Of course, Kresslyn could've ignored his feeling and connection to this man and continued about his day, but something stood out. Kresslyn didn't know much of the force through physical experience, but he was fresh out of training and could dump knowledge. Maybe he'd do that, maybe he wouldn't. Time would tell for sure.

"Apologies. I am looking to understand the force, would that be something you can help me with?" He said as he adjusted his posture and cocked his head to the side.

"Of course I can help you. What are you looking to understand? Then, we can begin."

Kresslyn removed his datapad from the pocket of his robes as he spoke, looking to see if any destinations were shut down before the two went about their quest for knowledge.

-- The Cyborg nodded as the man spoke about assisting him. Jaster was new to the Force, however his body was well trained in the use of it. He reacted and controlled it so well recently that he was unable to properly understand. His mastery of the Force was only on an unconscious level, reactionary in defense of himself and without his knowledge. He did not really know what the Force was, only that it was a part of him now and he had a path before him to follow.

-- He looked at the boy before him and stood, he was a towing man at a nearly 6 ft 5 in height and even behind his loose robes he presented a presence of strength. The man bowed his head and looked at the boy, "Thank you friend, I am Jaster though many just call me the Wanderer," He recovered from his bow and looked out to the hallways, "As for what I am looking for is an understanding of the Force, such as people have called me a Force User, yet I have no understanding of what the Force is?"

-- Jaster had traveled the galaxy for some time now, and he continued to meet people who called him this. He got the basics, the Force was what he considered the Winds of Celestial Wisdom, but other then the natural connection he had he did not know what it was.

"I am Jaster though many just call me the Wanderer. As for what I am looking for is an understanding of the Force, such as people have called me a Force User, yet I have no understanding of what the Force is?" he said as he introduced himself. When he stood up, he revealed a variety of cybernetics and an interesting figure about himself. He simply came to learn what the force was. Kresslyn had learned this every day since he came to the Silver Rest, so recapping his Master's lessons wouldn't be much of a problem.

"Well, Jaster, it is certainly nice to meet you," he started.

"The Force is everything. Every being, sentient or non sentient has a connection to the Force. It binds us and flows through all of us. Even a lothcat on Lothal has a connection to the Force. The Force, although neutral, has blessed users with the ability to wield it. Force users such as me, or possibly such as yourself, can manipulate midichlorians."

He paused for a moment before starting on what a midichlorian was.

"A midichlorian count determines what beings have a connection to the force and what don't. The higher the midichlorian count, the better the connection to the force and the user's ability to wield it. Midichlorians are sentient micro organisms within our bodies. They can communicate with us. They communicate with anything, whether force sensitive or not."

He then turned and waited to begin walking.

"Walk with me, Jaster. We'll find something more visual."
