A young officer on the ascendant, Leandra Brax has committed her life to Imperial service, the one true calling she can see in her life of regrets. Born on Alashan and raised in a family of moderate wealth and status, she was expected to follow in their footsteps and become a merchant. A life of wealth and minor gains did not suit the young Leandra, and her aggressive, vicious mentality she would become known for as a naval officer was beginning to take root. When she learned of her families involvement with a criminal enterprise, the source of their seemingly impossible to find trade goods, she turned her family in to the authorities. She watched her family be taken away by Imperial officials, and that same day, signed up to join the navy.
