Intent: To provide an exotic blaster for Warren Century.
Development Thread: If needed
Manufacturer: Browncoat Arms & Industrial, Warren Century.
Model: WC-BP MK I
Affiliation: Open Market
Modularity: The light- saber crystal that colors the blaster bolts could be changed out.
Production: Unique
Material: Durasteel, Blaster Components, Crystal Core, Lightsaber Crystal. Power Pack. Gas Canister.
Classification: Blaster
Size: Handheld
Length: 12 CM
Weight: 2.75 KG
Ammunition Type: Power Cell, and Gas Canister.
Ammunition Capacity: 70 shots, before the crystal needs to be replaced.
Effective Range: Personal
Rate of Fire: Fully Automatic.
Special Features: Biometric Scanner, Breath Analyzer, Lightsaber Crystal.
Description:

Powered by a traditional power pack, the blaster has been modified in ways that make it unique. The first modification is a biometric scanner that prevents unauthorized usage of the blaster. There is also a breath analyzer that prevents the blaster from working if a person is drunk. The light saber crystal is used as a means of changing the color of the blaster bolts. This makes the blaster unique in that it isn't the traditional red or green colors that most blasters are. The blaster bolts are lower powered, unfortunately.

Manufacturer: Blas-Tech Industries,
Need a link to Blas-Tech here, if you don't mind.

Sorry it took so long to get to you on this one, I've spent a fair bit of time researching the principles behind it.

The blaster could be made into a blaster rifle, or other type of blaster as well.

You can add a stock and a foregrip to a pistol, but that's not going to make it a rifle. At best, you'd have a carbine.

I'm not saying you can't have it that long if you want it, but that puts the gun at about a foot and a half long. That's awful big for a handgun if you're planning to conceal it.

This blaster uses a lightsaber crystal instead of traditional power packs to provide the energy needed for a blaster. The blaster uses an internal Crystal Core that was made by Suvian Sciences in order to power the blaster itself.
This is the part that's had me stumped for a while. I've been researching to see if there's any precedent for this sort of thing, and the answer is sort of. There are certain types of crystals that can be removed from certain blasters and used in lightsabers, but they aren't power supplies. Lightsaber crystals can be power crystals, as certain types of power crystals have properties that make them desirable as lightsaber crystals. That said, the majority of them do not.

A lightsaber crystal is a focusing implement. That is its functional purpose within a lightsaber. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use one in a similar capacity for a blaster. There are maybe a couple of examples. My question is, what are you planning to get out of it? If you want a blaster with funny colored bolts, that's fine. If, on the other hand, you want to shoot lightsaber blades at people, that's not cool. So we need to nail down an approximate power level for these things.

- I'm working on editing the blaster to be acceptable. The lightsaber crystal is to change the color of the blaster bolts. I don't want it to be overpowered, but I'm trying to figure out a way to make these blasters unique. I'll remove the stock, and other modifications.

Production: Mass Produced

In that case, you'll want to change the production to Unique. Right now you've got it as Mass produced.

Fully automatic weaponry, especially with something like this, will probably use lower powered bolts in order to make it controllable. You're trading individual power per shot for volume of fire.

Alright, last thing if you want to keep it fully automatic, mention the individual bolts being lower powered and you're good to go.
