ADVANCED SYSTEMS
  • Bio-weaponry Deployment System: This Warship is outfitted with 1,000 Imperial Biowarfare deployment pods.
  • Bio-weapon purge systems: This starship is equipped with ventilation systems in the event that a hazardous biochemical is released onboard. These systems will systematically purge the contamination from the ship via s complicated series of vents that can lead to the vacuum of outer space.
Strengths:
  • The Wall: This Command ship is designed to be nearly impenetrable. With the hazardous payload it carries, it was a necessity that the ship be able to withstand heavy firepower. Augmented with the Galactic Empire's state of the art deflector shields, it would take a sizeable force to penetrate this ship's hull.
  • Planetary Bombardment: Via the Imperial Biowarfare Deployment pods, this vessel can bombard a planet from space, utilizing biowarfare at it's finest this ship is nearly capable of contaminating entire worlds.
Weaknesses:
  • Low Armament: This Command Ship has a very minor armament, to the point where it is relatively useless in ship-to-ship combat.
  • Slow and steady: The Lawbringer is a slow moving destroyer. Because of it's low speed and menueverability it is often a hot target for smaller starships.
  • Prototype: This ship, being a prototype, is the only make of it's kind. On top of costing billions of Imperial credits, the ship has no equal in terms of class, making it a truly unique vessel.
  • Self-contamination: While unlikely, if the Lawbringer happens to have an internal release of the deadly virus's it transports, the results could be crippling and even fatal to the crew and mission.
DESCRIPTION:

Years of planning have brought the Galactic Empire to this moment. With the completion of the Red Shadow Virus the Empire commissioned a new Star Destroyer. One that could safely transport and deploy the virus over the vast expanse of the Imperial war theatre.

The first of it's kind, the Lawbringer-Class Star Destroyer is a shining beacon of peace and order, as well as the pride of the Imperial Science division. With the size and defense of a Praetor Mark V-Class Star Destroyer, the Lawbringer is fully outfitted with all systems needed to contain, transport, and deploy the most hellish weaponry engineered by the Galactic Empire's Scientists.

As the wars in the galaxy rage on, planets are becoming more and more rooted in their dissidents, many rejecting the shining light of the Empire. To better help with the "pacification" of such wayward planets, the Empire realized the need for chemical warfare once again.

Hidden behind it's nearly impenetrable hull, the belly of this destroyer hosts nearly one thousand bio deployment pods. Much like escape pods, they are jettisoned from the ship and use their own engine systems to take them to a pre-designated location on the planet below. While there are many of these pods it was important that no two pods collide, destroying them before they enter the atmosphere, for that reason only around twenty pods can be deployed at any one time. After each deployment, the large blast doors to the hull will be sealed, another twenty pods will be moved into the deployment phase, and prepared to fire at the planet below. Glory to the Empire.
