Last Call (Rekha)

@[member="Rekha Kaarde"]

It was a dark and rainy night. Hawk arrived at the bar toward the end of the evening. He got there just in time for last call. His cloak was dripping from the rain. He removes it and place it on chair. He was dressed as a Jedi clothing. His brand new lightsaber was clip to his belt.

He walks to the bar. He spots his favorite bartender at the bar. Rekha. He had a little crush on her. He was one of her many admires.

"Hi Rekha. How are ya?" He says with lopsided grin.

Rekha looked up and smiled, "Hey Hawk, what brings you out in weather like this?" She was just about ready to close it all down, it had been a long night, and she was ready to put her feet up, and relax. She moved down the bar, "Did you need something?"

She put her hands on the bar, her green eyes staring at Hawk. Jedi...very interesting.

"Training." Hawk didn't want to bore Rekha with all the details. His master Iella believed in training in all sorts of weather conditions. It made sense to him. You weren't always going to fight in a nice weather controlled arena.

A piece of Hawk wet hair fell on his forehead. "I'm chilled to the bone. I'm needing something warm to drink. All night I've been wanting some a shot of Whyren."

A couple of rough looking men enter the bar behind Hawk. They were looking for trouble.

Rekha had started to answer Hawk, when the two men came in. "Hey guys sorry, closing up for the night, come on back tomorrow" Rekha wasn't sure what they wanted, she had had some trouble a few times, and she wasn't in the mood for any tonight.

She eyed the men cautiously, "Hawk, I can get you some tea if you like" She didn't want the men to think that she was serving Hawk and not them. When the men split up, Rekha clicked her tongue. Oh this was not going to be pretty.

Hawk didn't need the force to know that these guys were trouble. "Sure tea would be fine." He looks in the mirror at the bar. The two guys had split up.

The man closes to Hawk violently tips over a table trying to distract them from watching his partner pulling out a blaster and fires a shot at Rekha. Within a matter of seconds, Hawk's brilliant blue lightsaber defects the bolt away from Rekha. The bolt harmlessly hit the floor.

"Gentlemen it is time for you to leave." Hawk says calmly.

"Hey, that's new you break it you buy it" Rekha started to say something else just as the blaster made its appearance, Rekha ducked down and came back up with the DL-44, aiming it at the one who had shot at her, "Yes time to go boys, I don't want blood on my new floors"

Emotionless eyes stared at the men, Rekha did not take kindly to this kind of behavior at all.

Between the lightsaber and the blasters, the two thugs knew that they were outmatched. "This isn't over." One of the men says as they slowly leave the bar.

Hawk walks behind them watching them as they leave. Making sure that they wouldn't pull any more tricks. Once they were outside of the bar, Hawk locks the door. He turns to look at Rekha. "Exciting." He says sarcastically. "Is to like this all time?" He switches off the saber. "You ok?"

Rekha put the blaster onto the bar, was that normal hell no, they didn't come in when customers were in the bar, so WTF was that all about. Her green eyes looked around the room again, to be sure.

"Its not, they aren't usually so bold" Rekha had to think about what she had done lately that might have drawn attention, and figure out if this was just a fluke.

"Nice glow stick, they let you have one?" She smiled.

He hooks the saber back on his belt. "Hmmmm. I would be extra careful. If you dont mind I will escort you home." He wonders who Rekha ticked off.

"Thanks, designed it myself." He walks over to her. He carefully examine her. "Are you sure your ok?"

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

"Yes I'm fine" Rekha nodded, if he only knew that this was not the worst thing to have ever happened to her. "I live here actually, I have a place upstairs it convenient and easy" She smiled this time, "So how goes training " Rekha began fixing the tea she had told him about.

All while her eyes would dart to the doors, wondering if this was a move from a gang from below, or just someone trying a power play

Hawk sits down. He half facing the door. He didn't think the guys would be back tonight. "You live upstairs. That makes for an easy commute." He says with a playful grin. It was nice having her attention on him not thousand other things going on.

"Training is going well for the most part." He did have an uneasy moment in the cave of Illum. "Rekha, you know a lot people. Have you seen this man recently?" He shows her a holo of his father.

Rekha looked at the picture, hundreds came through the bar each week. She looked at the face, the style of hair, "jedi for certain" She looked from it to Hawk, "relative" Rekha thought about it, "maybe a week back someone that looked a little like this, but hard to say"

She looked at Hawk, "Who is he?"

He frowns slightly. She may have seen him. That not a lot to go on. "He's my father. He goes by Nathan Solo. I've seen him in long time. I get the feeling that he might be in trouble." He didn't want to go into his vision of his father's force ghost.

A chill goes through him. "Is that tea almost ready? I'm freezing."

Rekha set the tea on the bar, "of course it had to brew Hawk, I thought Jedi were patient" She smiled at him, she would be nice. "Your father huh, well I'll keep an eye out, a lot of people come through here and I don't always remember them all, but I will try to be more observant."

Rekha pulled out a water now, she leaned back trying to relax. "So following the family business, how...nice" She was being a bit sarcastic, and she didn't know why. "So brothers sisters mom?"

@[member="Rekha Kaarde"]

Hawk makes a face at Rekha comment about joining the family business. "It wasn't my first choice. Believe me. I went from a dancer, smuggler, and Jedi in training." He could hear the sarcasm in her voice. He hopes that she wasn't one of those people who don't like Jedi.

"My older Brad is a Jedi. My twin sister Sami is a dancer. My mom was a prima ballerina. Now she teaches dance. How about you? Any family?"

"No family" she wouldn't say right now if she had or had not she was private, and they needed protection. The only family she had in the last few years, Rianna and her family"

"Dancer" She giggled, "Smuggler" ok she'd take that, but now, "Jedi, quite the progression. So you didn't want to be a jedi when you grew up, you wanted to be in tights and a tutu?"

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

@[member="Rekha Kaarde"]

Hawk laughs. "No, I didn't want wear a tutu." He knew that she was joking around. "I did wear a leotard. A black one." He takes a sip of the tea. "Growing up like I did..Jedi were too unemotional almost robot like. Dancer had passion and life plus mom wouldn't let me take pilot lesson until I was 17."

"Dancing is very useful skill. Women love men who know to dance."

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

"What too manly for the tutu, how about the tights?" Rekha had him now, "a black one! damn not hot pink?" Rekha smirked, "Women love men who know how to move, dancing is just the precursor to it"
Rekha laughed again, "men you don't know women at all" Rekha took a drink.

@[member="Rekha Kaarde"]

Hawk laughs at her hot pink comment. He was used to being teased about his dancing past. "Why don't you teach me about women?" He says with a smirk. "I dare ya." He says challenging her. His blues eyes sparked with mischief.

@[member="Hawk Solo"]

Rekha laughed, "Because you men are too hard headed, think women like dollies for dress up" Rekha shook her head, "I think you should all learn from the hit and miss method, yes you do it right or no you pay the consequences"

Rekha took another sip, "Besides don't you Jedi value hands on experience over just being taught a lesson?"
