PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
- Build: Slender, lithe, long-limbed, and toned. She looks liight on her feet even standing still.
- Skin: Deep cobalt blue.
- Eyes: Red
- Hair: Midnight blue-black, usually pulled severely back into a low knot or braid.
- Bearing: Quiet, economical, and deliberate.
- Modernized Imperial Knight armor kit with high collar, sharp lines, minimal ornamentation.
- Weapon: Knight saber, with a clean and functional, almost austere hilt.
- Gauntlets built for grappling and blade control.
At her core, Lareva's nature is composed, observant, and quietly intense. She believes in an order that can afford mercy where appropriate and that can restrain power when necessary. She does her duty without performance and without theatrics. She considers herself Chiss not by geography, but rather by discipline: language, posture, restraint, ritual -- all of which she had to actively choose to learn by practice, because she had no home to make it automatic as it did for previous generations. The planet is a shrine she never built for herself, but which she tends as a duty.
STRENGTHS
- Discipline: Lareva maintains excellent control of distance, timing, and tempo in combat. She wins by forcing mistakes rather than overwhelming force.
- Footwork/Mobility: She is hard to pin down and thrives in both tight spaces and in free running and occasionally parkour.
- Self-Command: Excellent at compartmentalizing, Lareva can keep fear, grief, anger, joy, lust, and other emotions in their box until she's ready to open it, avoiding distractions in crucial moments.
- Hungry for Anchors: Because she grew up in the shadow of Csilla's annihilation, Lareva is drawn to vows and ranks and hierarchies; institutions that offer certainty and belonging appeal to her.

HISTORY
Born a few years after the annihilation of Csilla to a restorationist mother and a traditionally militaristic loyalist, Stybla'rev'anya grew up in the Chiss diaspora surrounded by people who spoke of a homeworld she would never see for herself. Her mother taught her to look and listen more than she spoke, while her father taught her vigilance, threat assessment, and physical combat. He put a quarterstaff in her hands almost as soon as she could walk, and she learned combat almost like walking. As she grew, she progressed to swords, blasters, and hand-to-hand combat.
Growing up in the shadow of Csilla's destruction gave Lareva a kind of cognitive dissonance. Her grief didn't match the grief that was expected of her, because she had never seen Csilla with her own eyes, never knew what it meant. It was impossible for her to grieve the loss of a home the way her elders did, though she did acutely feel the absence of a home -- what it meant to rely on the generosity of others, to not have a place to go back to.
Her parents guided her into further combat training, training with the colony militia, until her Force Sensitivity was discovered in hear early teens. After several years training with a local Chiss force sensitive who rejected the light and dark dichotomy, he encouraged her to seek out the Imperial Knights for further training, believing he had done all he could for her. There she learned further discipline and refined her combat prowess.
