Private Landslide

Somewhere off the beaten path, across from the newest installation of Mando Coffee Co, an old gymnasium bereft of the fancy new holo devices that tracked everything for you. Just old equipment, mats, weights, mirrors and plenty of punching bags. Liorra, Elise Ahana-Gwyneira Elise Ahana-Gwyneira and Mia Monroe Mia Monroe had taken the gym for themselves that day. Lio was still shrugging off the loss on Dxun and coping with what felt like rejection and abandonment from the Jedi. "Al'verde meg cuyir mhi o' narir olar, Ni ganar a haarun at borarir ut ner beskar'gam." She complained, whined even as she threw one more punch into the bag, and stopped it with her other hand before it could swing into her face. "Vod," she nodded toward Elise and then back over at Mia, just like any teenager she was bored and didn't really want to be there. She had other places to be, like her ship, or playing with her droid, meditating even. Anything that meant she didn't actually have to face her feelings, again.

In a simple outfit, reflective of her Novanian heritage, Elise practiced basic stances and attacks with her bes'manda beskad as Liorra Liorra angrily punched a training dummy. She vented her frustrations involving why they were here, and that they could be somewhere else doing something useful. Elise paused in her own training, looking over to her, "I mean, training is important. More than keeping our gear pristine."

She returned to her training, swinging her sword with precision, grace, and discipline. She clearly had learned how to do this since a young age, and she was good at it. The young Mandalorian continued with light footwork on the training mat. Barefoot, like how she preferred to be, Elise was dexterous and coordinated as she continued her fast paced bladework. Elise herself looked worn out, was sweating, and was panting. She obviously had been training before even coming here. But here she was, pressing forward. Her Iron Heart necklace was deathly cold against her skin as she made a final flourish with her sword before entering a closing salute with the beskad. She lowered Tar'Nau, panting, and walked over to grab her water bottle. As she chugged her bottle, she too contemplated what Mia had called them here for. This was not the usual place where she trained with her Al'verde, after all. She was more curious than angry though, as she looked through the corner of her eye to where Mia Monroe Mia Monroe was.

Mia watched both of them quietly, so very different and yet so very alike. How, she had wound up with either of them, she wasn't entirely sure, but she was eternally grateful. She chuckled, shaking her head. "Keeping your gear in good shape is just as important as training, Eli'ika. You can complete all the training in the galaxy, but if you haven't cleaned your rifle, or tended your armour, its not going to have you from a misfire, or a well placed blade."

She rose from the bench she'd been watching them from, her hand wrapping about a cylindrical something concealed beneath a sheet. It was large enough to be worn as a backpack, and she set it between them both with a heavy metal clunk. She tossed the sheet aside, revealing a nutrient tank beneath. "Just like learning to fight with the force, is as important as knowing what its like to be without it."

Both girls relied on it far too much.

"Even unconsciously, you lean into it. Precognition makes your ability to react to your enemies strikes faster, endurance makes you able to fight for longer, take more damage. Force sense allows you to work out where your enemy is when they are hiding. It is ingrained in both of you." She flicked a switch on the top of the tank, there was a hiss as it deployed stimulants into the sedated ysalamir within. The effect was instant, the lizard gave a small chirp as the force null bubble engulfed all three of them.

"Today, you fight each other without the force."
