Lana Fin-Lo was found by Dex Fin-Lo at a young age. The retired bounty hunter turned bartender found her in a burning building, which had been ransacked by a band of criminals on Corellia. After discovering that her family was dead, he took the infant with him, adopting her as his own daughter. As she grew older, it was discovered that she was unable to speak, likely the remnant of an injury she suffered on the day her home had been attacked. Along side this disability, Lana began to develop force sensitivity, showing great effectiveness in force healing. Her force sensitivity was eventually detected by the New Jedi Order, but they determined that she was too old to begin training. She grew up in the care of Dex, eventually becoming close friends with Jasper Kai'el when the Nautolan took the exile under his wing. Both developed feelings for each other, but remain oblivious to the intentions of the other.
