PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
As many a skilled practitioner of the Force might tell you, appearances, particularly when concerning Force-Sensitives, can be deceiving. Just so, should the average passerby look upon the Lady Kira only to be informed of the true nature and origin of her past life, yet that is not a tale that she has divulged to another living soul in many years.
Though she refuses to like the fact, time has not ceased in the coming of age, and though the decades have been counted several times over; the graceful presence of the Force has blessed her with a generous and healthy complexion despite stressful nature of remaining one step ahead of those who hunt her, not to mention her own demons that threaten to gnaw upon the memories of a long dead past.
None the less, it is commonplace for others to mistake her for a younger woman than truth would tell, however, this works in the favour of one who insists on keeping herself out of the societal spotlight, forgoing the formalities and old acquaintances that would pretend to know her through word of mouth, tales of old and a once beloved family that quickly became the ire of the Sith.
Publicly, Kira is withdrawn and quiet. She goes about her business and is rarely seen engaging in idle talk with those around her. She moves as though there is forever a shadow over her shoulder, a subtle hint of a larger fear for one perceptive enough to notice her eyes as they search for every entrance as she enters a new room, or every weapon as she nears other people, as though her survival depends upon her assessment of risk wherever she moves.
First impressions are most often likely to be disappointing for others, as she will be dismissive of the need for company. Years of isolation, journeying from place to place, have worn her manners and her patience for others, though she does still bear a conscience; difficult as it may be to find when pitted against her odds of survival.
PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Once an openly compassionate and trusting person, Lady Kira is no longer the young, lively girl that looked to the worlds she wandered with hope and enthusiasm; instead, her view of society around her appears to have become shrouded in cynicism and negativity for the harsh events that have transpired over the last two decades, forcing her into hiding.
Raised among a Force Order known as the Knights Obisidian, what she does convey is neither trust nor resentment towards Force-Users of either the Light or the Dark, but instead struggles to rely upon people for the sheer unpredictability in sentients themselves. She has never seen either as inherently good or bad, but was always taught that people have the capacity for great and terrible deeds, and it was up to them to decide which of these they sought to achieve.
Sadly, in her experience, her later years only seemed to encompass violence and misery, forcing her to abandon her faith in a conscious ethereal presence, finding it easier to trust in her training and experience than any supposed Will of the Force, for all the good it had done her in life. While able to harness and wield the power of the Force, the existence and use of her abilities were once accompanied by a strong religious faith, but now are merely a means to survival and striking the names of high-ranking Sith-Imperial Officers off her chit list.
HISTORY
In a different life, she had been a spirited young woman with great potential, both in her learning the ways of the Force and her theoretical studies of various Orders and Force-based religions, as well as her curiosity to expand upon the wealth of knowledge she gained from those closest to her.
Life was often spent roaming back and forth between different parts of the Galaxy, and so she grew accustomed to intergalactic travel rather than growing up upon a single world.
People of various backgrounds, cultures and customs fascinated her, much in the same way as those who learned the ways of the Force yet were set apart from the Jedi Order of the time. Life back then was full of wonder and possibility, and she had so much hope..
Only, sooner or later, everyone is forced to grow up, and Kira's coming into adulthood was quick, violent and followed by catastrophe after another. Witnessing one's home being invaded, neighbours being slaughtered, and a once beautiful world under siege was the turning point of her life.
It was back then that she saw the potential ugliness that others were capable of. Pure, unfiltered and mindless aggression emboldened by Force Users who weren't of the Darkside, but merely seeking their gains. Corrupt and sadistic.
For a time, after picking up the pieces of her scattered life, she managed to survive. Her loved ones survived, and things seemed to even out for a while. Still, the Galaxy is a revolving barrel, every slug fired seemingly setting off the next war between political or militaristic nations, swallowing the lives of the people living under heel in the process.
Cyrihan'ethira had been her answer, a potential home away from the known Galaxy...
And that's when the Sith came hunting for her. They knew her name, her lineage and everyone she was connected to. They made threats, promised blood and made it all sound so enjoyable for themselves, until they chose their last words poorly.
She was younger back then, believed herself to be capable. The answer seemed simple enough: strike out alone and hunt down those hunting her. Only her name grew more and more frequent upon the tongues of all the wrong people, and all the right people no longer sought to admit their knowledge of her, for it meant endangering their own.
After so many years...-The Galaxy seemed to forget and move forward.
She hadn't.
