[Ra'a'mah]

Making a simple and quick delivery of some rather exotic material to the Confederacy was what Ra was doing on Doldur. This was a place she had been to about five or six years ago. A planet she had intended to vacation on, but something had gone wrong on the journey and time here had been spent more in recovering than sight seeing.

It was nice to go there for once and not have to worry about anything going wrong.

Making sure everything was unloaded she now waited for somebody to sign off on the delivery and she could be on her way.

Rex was on Doldur for unsual reasons. He was to collect a rare material from one @Ra'a'mah. Arriving at the location they had already unloaded. Whoops I am late He though I am almost never late. He had arrived on planet several hours ago but he guessed he got carried away doing stuff. He arrived in his armour along with his companion droid Crow by his side. He looked at the crates, some of the contents were mundane medical supplies and the like. However he was here for songsteel, he knew he might need to bargain with Ra and how much she loved droids and had thus quietly left a Rakghoul droid in his ship.

He walked up to Ra. "Hi I am here to collect the goods and sign off on the delivery." He would say taking the papers and signing them, "How much is all of this going to set us back, the unique material included?" He asked. He already knew the figures but he wanted to bargain it to a lower price.

A man a few years younger than her approached and said he was here to sign off on the delivery. Since Ra was here on business, she kept her ability to use the Force and alignment hidden from casual observation.

Holding out the device she used to keep track of shipments, she looked at his companion. Turning her attention back to him when he spoke, she wondered why he asked about the cost of delivery. A price had been quoted already and agreed on.

"It's all been decided on, Mister...? I am Ra'a'mah Numare."

Presenting him a card with her name on it and what she was, if he wanted to take it. One never knew when they might need something shipped around or purchased. A good example was the material in this shipment.

"I like your companion. Prior to being with the Coalition, I was lead of the merchant fleet for the Metal Lords."

"@Ra'a'mah I think I have seen you before I believe, where was it?" Rex thinks about it while he takes her card. "Thank you very much I will keep you in mind next time I require materials or other things delivered to me."

Then he listens to her a bit longer, "You like my companion surprising not many people say that." Finally good Intel, he had hoped his Intel was right.

"Really you were with the metal lords, I have only heard stories about them." Then he finally says "Is there any way I could convince you to lower the price, at all?" He was hoping the droid he had brought could be used as a bargaining chip and now it can.

If they had met before it was just in passing and Ra did not have a clear memory of interacting with him personally. Thinking on her various recent public events she had been to, there were a couple she could think of. Her most recent one was the coronation of Stardust on Zeltros.

"I think it may have been on Zeltros for my sister Stardust."

He said not many liked his companion, but what he didn't know was her past with droids. Then he figured out her connection to the Metal Lords. Smiling with a nod before she spoke, she listened to his request to lower the price of the delivery.

"What have heard of the Metal Lords? As for the price, it had already been agreed on."

There was a slight emphasis on the last part of what she said. A gentle nudge through the Force for him to take the price agreed on.

He nodded. "Ah yes Stardust's coronation, yes that was where I saw you yes." He was curious about the fact that she was Stardust's sister. He listened to her about the metal lords. "I know bits and pieces about the metal lords but not much." Just then he felt an invading power attempt to persuade him to take the original price.

Right then. A force user that makes sense as to being stars sister. He looked her dead in the eyes and snapped "@Ra'a'mah How unbecoming of you. trying to use force persuade on a customer Ra, please refrain from attempting it. I want a lower price and I am willing to bargain with you for it, with two bargaining chips. One will be this information, while the second will be this." He whistles and another one of his droid companions would appear.

"I always come prepared and my Intel on you was that you might like one of these." He said. "So about that price?"

The mystery solved as to where they had met, he said he didn't know much about the Metal Lords. Her attempted persuasion failed and the Chiss rebuffed her sternly. He said it was unbecoming and that was greeted with a slight shoulder shrug as she listened to him continue. It didn't upset her, but she hoped he would keep it a secret.

As he continued, he whistled and another of the droids appeared. She lifted a single eyebrow at it and smiled slightly as he stated his offer. Making some adjustments to the quote on the datapad, she held it back out to him.

"Let me know if that is a reasonable adjustment."

He looked at the new price. "Yes that is reasonable." Rex then goes to the second droid that appear, he tapped a few buttons on it and on his armour. Walking back over to @Ra'a'mah he pulls out a little device. "Speak into here and the droid is all yours." While Ra was doing that, Rex transferred the credits across would be long before she received the notification. Then he finally says "I look forward to using your services in the future."

 

[Ra'a'mah]

He agreed on the new price and held out a device to take a vocal print of her voice. This way her new droid companion would recognize her voice and take orders from her.

"I am Ra'a'mah Numare. That should be good enough I think."

Wearing a​ little smile as she finished speaking. It was obvious both of them thought they wound up on the good end of the bargain they made.

"Same here," looking at the datapad, "Mister Taff. If you ever have been of anything else, you have my card."

He smiles "I will if I ever require your services again, a pleasure to have worked with you." He then turned and began lifting the crates with the force placing them in his ship. Once he was sure he had gotten all of the crates. He left the world and headed towards his own world he would make something out of this soon enough.
