DESCRIPTION
The Sagittarius Mass Driver Cannon was developed by Olympian Armorsmiths to serve as a base weapon for various versions in different calibers, ranging from a tank-gun to a capital ship weapon. Designed to fire a variety of shells for different purposes and different targets, it was an ideal weapon for fire support. Adaptability was a key element which most common laser and turbolaser cannons could not offer, but a mass driver could.

The first gun built was the L55 which was intended for the Talos Main Battle Tank and would be the base version from which the heavier and one lighter variant were developed. It offered a peak performance of range and accuracy.
