DESCRIPTION
The Sagittarius Mass Driver Cannon was developed by Olympian Armorsmiths to serve as a base weapon for various versions in different calibers, ranging from a tank-gun to a capital ship weapon. Designed to fire a variety of shells for different purposes and different targets, it was an ideal weapon for fire support. Adaptability was a key element which most common laser and turbolaser cannons could not offer, but a mass driver could.

The third gun built was the L45 which was a smaller version of the L55 and designed to be for light tanks and even mobile emplacements and carriages of foot artillery and anti-tank guns. It is a the lightest version of the Sagittarius cannon and very efficient in what it does. It lacks the heavy punch of the bigger guns and has a slow rate of fire but it makes up for it with a good range and good accuracy.
