Kyrilu stands 6 feet tall, 190lbs with the build of a swordsman: broad shoulders, long arms and a narrow waist. High cheekbones hang over a growth of iron stubble about a proud jawline and his silver-grey hair is kept short at the sides and swept backwards at the top. He bears webbed force lightning scars that cover his entire back, down his left shoulder and arm, up the left side of his neck and head to behind his ear. To cover his lack of eyes he uses a plasteel half-face mask, decorated with a midnight blue sky split by violet lightning, that affixes to his skull via magnets on the mask's inside, to subdermal metal implants at both of his temples. The mask covers his forehead, eyes, nose and cheekbones, but is only worn when in battle or in public. In private, he is content to use a simple black or grey strap of cloth tied about his head. About his person he wears stylishly cut jackets and breeches, reinforced with armoured plates of plasteel, allowing him to remain protected without drawing attention to himself, boots and a travelling cloak.
BIOGRAPHY:
Born on a backwater planet in the outer rim, grew up dirt poor. His colony was attacked by mercenaries lead by a group of sith marauders when he was just a toddler. His parents were slain by a sith acolyte, he himself narrowly avoided death by the intervention of a jedi padawan who forced the acolyte to flee. The damage was done, however, as Ky was left with scars from the acolyte's force lightning attack. He survived, was brought to coruscant by the jedi padawan and her master and trained in the jedi temple. He was noticed by an aging Master Valens, himself a renowned lightsaber duellist, who was impressed with Ky's fighting skills.
They travelled the breadth of the galaxy until, when Ky was 17, they came up against a sith raid in the outer rim while aboard a transport freighter. Valens was killed due to Ky's stubborn refusal to back down while fighting the very same sith warrior who gave him his scars all those years ago. The sith fled once more, leaving Ky to pick up the pieces of his shattered life. He could not return to the Jedi after causing the death of the respected Master Valens, and so turned to a life of mercenary work to get by. He found his skills lay in espionage, oftentimes for corporate clients but just as much for those of a criminal disposition. He has been trying to keep his ears open for any mention of the sith warrior, but so far has had no luck.
