Intent: Personal Armor for Kyan Vahhks
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: N/A
Model: 001
Affiliation: Kyan Vahhks
Modularity: Limited
Production: Unique
Material: Armorplast, Armorweave

Classification: Anti Ballistic, Anti Blaster
Weight: 10kg
Quality: 7

Special Features
Breath Mask: A specialized breath mask that processes the air of a type one atmosphere making it breathable for Ubese. Quite possibly the most important piece of this armor as without it Kyan could suffocate.
Helmet Package: Low Light Vision, Infrared Vision, Ultra Violet Vision, Rangefinder, Light Sensitivity Filtration System, Noise Dampeners, HUD
Insulated Micro Polymers: Using the same technology that the standard Stun Cloak utilizes to keep its wearing from being electrocuted the Armorweave of the Armor has been insulated with specific micro polymers that allow it to absorb electricity. This in turn insulates the wearer against electrical attacks.
Reifflex Cellular Padding: Prevents head injuries
Magnetized Palms: The palms of the gauntlets have been magnetized to correspond with specific weapons that have similar grips ensuring they can't be disarmed or lost.
Tremor Sensors: Like the bionic implant the boots of the armor have tremor sensors installed in them. This allows the wearing to pick up even the most subtle vibrations created from movement no matter the direction its coming from. Maximum range of 30 meters.

Equipment
Shockweb: A Shockweb is a powerful electrified stun field that encases the entire surface of the armor its been integrated into. This one runs off a micro powercell which has a total of 8 charges before needing to be recharged. Turning the Shockweb on or off is a simple action for the armors wearer. While the shockweb is active any time the armor is struck via a melee attack or grappled with it discharges an electrical burst capable of stunning opponents and incapacitating them.
Retractable Vibroblades (Left and Right Gauntlet): Exactly what it sounds like. Blades measure a total of six inches in length.
Rocket Dart Launchers (Left and Right Kneepads): One dart per launcher.

Description
A non descript armor Kyan Vahhks had it made to assist him in his missions recognizing that armor also carried something of the personality of its wearer along with it. Armorplast is the main component of the armor. The Ubese chose the Armorplast because of its equivalent durability to durasteel but the reduced weight by upwards of 50% ensuring that the armor remained light and uncumbersome.

The Armor comes with a standard loadout as well as numerous after market perks that Kyan installed personally which make it more deadly.

Weak points in the armpits, elbows and back of the knees as is the norm.

Is there any canon precedence for this type of sensitivity? Does the sensor have a range limitation?

Electrical shock lacing must be used on powered armor, as normal battle armor cannot fulfill this weapon's power requirements unless fitted with unwieldly power generators or power cells. ~Shockweb entry in Gundark's Fantastic Technology, p.63
I see two options for this.

1) Keep current ability to stay charged for 20 minutes/charges, and add some description about the device being powered by noticeably large powercells or a power generator.

2) Reduce charges to 8 total before needing to be recharged, which is the same for a standard stun cloak powered by a micro powercell.

I've made the edits to the Shockweb so that it runs off the micro powercell and has a total of 8 charges. Really I think that's more than enough for anyone wanting to grapple onto it anyways. Hahahah.

As for the Tremor Sensors the only canon precedence I have are from the Galaxy at War sourcebook from the Star Wars RPG. The entry reads as following from the section on advanced cybernetics.....

A tremor sensor is installed in the feet of the host. Connected to the nervous system, the tremor sensor detects minute vibrations in the ground, warning the host of approaching enemies. A creature with the tremor sensor enhancement takes no penalty to Perception checks to notice targets that have concealment or total concealment, provided the target moved on its last turn.
-Pg 50. Star Wars Roleplaying Game - Galaxy at War
....in the book it's a cybernetic enhancement however I didn't think it'd be much different if it was an enhancement for armor feeding information back to an hud or something similar. Nothing is indicated about the range of the tremor sensor but I'd imagine in order for it to work successfully anyone it might pick up would need to be within a normal visual range; it wouldn't make sense for them to be in another building and be noticed but quite possibly in another room behind a door or wall dependent on thickness, etc.

I need a maximum range at which this would work.
