STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
[+]Pilot: Kurt, first and foremost, is a racing legend. On his homeworld of Tatooine he is well known among the podracing circuit, having only ever lost one race in his entire career. This famed skill carried him throughout his entire life, and he's known as an excellent pilot. Mostly his skill lies in smaller craft, fighters in particular, his reaction times being legendary in certain circles.

[+]Good Shot: To go along with his excellent piloting skills and his well practiced hands, Kurt is an excellent shot. Having grown up on Tatooine Kurt is well versed in the sport of shooting wamp rats. He carries around his fathers old WESTAR-35, a blaster that the old man got nearly two decades ago.

[-]At Least You're Pretty: Kurt isn't exactly the smartest person in the galaxy. He's not an idiot or a fool, but there are some areas of life where the young man is clearly lacking. Mostly this pertains to more complex aspects of the galaxy, math, and history. He is liable to forget most things unless they're very important, and good luck getting him to pin down anything that he's not interested in.

[-]Success Story: Most of Kurt's life has been a series of what he deems to be successes. He has won every race, achieved every goal, perfect his craft, and has generally gotten away with every bad behavior he has ever displayed. Kurt has never truly failed in life, and when that failure finally hits, it will likely hit very hard.

APPEARANCE:
Kurt has the look of a man with a constant plan.

Since meeting Jamie and Kaile his look has changed however. Where once he had the appearance of a man constantly ready to jump at any pretty woman that gave him a second glance, Kurt now carries himself with a bit more respectful Confidence. His shoulders still stand square, his eyes are set straight ahead, and his smile has turned into one of genuine warmth instead of arrogant smirk.

The way he has dressed has also changed. Whereas before his clothing was stained and torn, they are now clean and well cut. Everything he wears properly fits him, and in general Kurt now seems far more groomed than before.

Ultimately however Kurt still carries himself the same way, cool, confident, and with a plan.

BIOGRAPHY:
Kurt Meyer was born as a second generational kid on his homeworld of Tatooine.

His parents moved to the outer rim desert world to flee from the impending Sith invasions of the Mandalorians under Darth Moridins rule, leaving behind the conflicts of the galaxy in order to live a simpler life within the deserts of Tatooine. Not knowing any other life, Kurt was mostly okay with this growing up, his parents taking care of every need and showing him the love that every child deserved.

As he grew up, Kurt discovered quite quickly that his talents lay with the operation of speeders and other fast moving vehicles.

In his teens he and his friends would often steal their parents speeders, racing about the dunes and desert canyons at high speeds. At fifteen it became obvious to Kurt's parents that their child was a bit of a speed demon, leading to them allowing him to begin entering podraces.

Though not the youngest ever podracer, Kurt was perhaps one of the most successful. For a three year span Kurt entered nearly every podrace on Tatooine, out of one hundred and eleven he only ever lost sixteen. Through these exploits he became somewhat famous, heralded as a racing prodigy. Due to the nature of his sponsorship however, Kurt never made much money from the races.

One his eighteenth birthday Kurt decided that he had enough of Tatooine, and using his meager winnings bought himself a ticket off the world.

Saying goodbye to his parents Kurt quickly took his leave, journeying to the Republic and enlisting in the Navy only a few weeks later. There he once again excelled, quickly becoming a pilot and taking part in many military exercises. He was commended, and eventually promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Unfortunately for him, or perhaps for the Republic Navy, Kurt's more wild side couldn't be controlled. He was eventually dishonorably discharged for continued misconduct and fraternization.

After being thrown out of the Navy, Kurt wandered from place to place, eventually picking up a job as the pilot for a small courier company, flying an old and outdated VCX-820 owned by the company itself.

The Company, Mynock Shipping Incorporated was bought up by Vanir Technologies not soon after Kurt began working for them. Vanir Techonologies gutted the corporation, changed the work model and changed its name to Sif Shipping. Though he was initially concerned about the drastic changes Kurt was happy to find out that the corporation was actually changing for the better. Deliveries were scheduled more regularly, courier cuts went up, and in general everything became somewhat more forgiving. It was in this jovial time that Kurt met none other than [member="Kaileann Vera"], his soon to be roommate.

After having just delivered his latest package Kurt made a stop over on an Arceneau Trade Station within the middle rim, visiting his favored classy restaurant, Yum Bunnies.

It was here that Kurt met Kaile for the first time. She was posing as a simple Waitress working for the restaurant, acting as a sort of surrogate sister for many of the girls that worked there. Though the two didn't initially meet, Kaile quickly found herself swept up in the chaos that was Kurt Meyer when a rather rowdy Patron attempted to take things a bit too far with one of the other hostesses. Kurt, being the suave hero that he was, intervened. With swift action and a blaster bolt or two Kurt managed to save the girl, wounding the other Patron and fighting him off long enough for the authorities to save him. Kaile, astounded by Kurt's heroism dragged him off to properly thank him within Yum Bunnies freezer, an act that unfortunately earned her the ire of Yum Bunnies Corporate Regulations.

Only a few hours after their run in, Kurt found Kaile sitting alone and dejected, crying for the woe that she was experiencing(due to entirely her own fault and because of nothing Kurt did). Against his better judgement, against every voice in his head, Kurt offered Kaile a temporary place to stay aboard his ship.

Things went surprisingly well from there, the old VCX freighter quickly became a home for the both of them, and despite Kurt's resistance, Kaile fast became more than just a roommate. The waitress became Kurt's friend, the first one he'd had since his ejection from the Navy. Kaile became an odd stabilizing point for Kurt, someone that he could trust while not asking any questions. As the two of them got to know one another and spent time together, Kaile's place on the ship gradually became more and more assured, until eventually she moved from temporary roommate, to just another fixture of the ship.

Unfortunately for Kurt...and Kaile, things were not always simple.

During one of Kaile's trips away Kurt took the old VCX to Telti, a courier mission having brought him there. During his time on the planet the One Sith, in their glorious wisdom, decided to take the planet. There on the station Kurt met @Choly Vyn, a young woman who knew him from his time on Tatooine. As she fawned over him, the Sith attacked, and within minutes of the initial assault the VCX was blown to smithereens. Though both Kurt and Choli eventually managed to escape, the VCX was completely destroyed.

Though things seemed dire, Sif Shipping offered Kurt a deal. They would supply him with a ship, and in return take a small piece of every paycheck he ordinarily got. A fantastic deal that would allow him to keep working, and eventually bring him The Messa.

Riding the high of his new ship Kurt began a new lease on life. He made deliveries, moved from planet to planet, experienced things as he had not ever done so before. Kaile cracked many shells for him, showing him companionship and friendship as no one had before. The two carved an odd swathe across the galaxy, always moving at the same pace but never quite towards the same thing. They were happy, and quickly became the best of friends.

It was then that Kurt would meet the other woman that changed his life forever.

[member="Jamie Pyne"] came into his life at a time where Kurt thought himself immune from the vulnerabilities of women. The young Pilot had never considered himself the type to be

afflicted by love, and he'd certainly never thought he'd simply stumble across it. Yet, a simply delivery gone awry saw that all come crashing down. Kurt met Jamie when a delivery of a gift to her parents went wrong. She had run away from home at the time, seeking independence and her own path through the galaxy. Unfortunately for Kurt, that notion of independence came at exactly the wrong time, and when he went to deliver the small necklace her parents had ordered, he instead encountered security forces that immediately arrested him. Though the charges were quickly cleared up, Kurt was temporarily thrown in jail, suspecting of kidnapping Jamie and holding her hostage.

After his release Kurt wandered away from Naboo, heading to the nearest Arceneau Trade station. It was here that Kurt met Jamie, finding her sitting in a diner all on her own. Bewildered, he approached the girl, admonishing her for what she had done. The two hit it off immediately, though perhaps in too literal sense of the term. The Pilot and the Princess screeched at one another, creating a public spectacle until eventually, Kurt managed to drag Jamie's intentions out of her. She told him that she desired freedom,a choice for her own path, and the desire to make her own way. Knowing those thoughts, Kurt offered her the same chance he had once had. After a moment of thought Jamie accepted, and the two ventured off together aboard The Messa. The trip inevitably ended as one might expect, with the young Miss Pyne wrapped in Kurt's arms.

It was the ending of this trip that changed things however, Jamie confronting Kurt with the truth of what he was, a man on the run.

[/float]Their parting came soon after, Kurt left shaken and half wondering. The Pilot returned to Kaile, picking her up and heading towards the brighter side of the galaxy. Instead of dwelling on the past Kurt instead moved to do something with a bit more excitement, taking a side trip to the famed Cloud Nine. The two friends visited the Bespin city, exploring it's gracious wonders and staring at the riches that they hadn't dreamed of in their right minds. The two explored the city, slowly moving about and talking of their past, their future, and where they would go next. Eventually the two settled on the idea of visiting Kurt's homeworld, Tatooine. In half a bark of excitement Kurt swept Kaile up and to meet his parents, delighted that she would see the wonders of his home.

The two arrived on Tatooine not long after they left Cloud Nine, The Messa's advanced hyperdrive carrying them quite far and quite quickly. They ventured out into the desert world with Kurt's delight evident all the way through, pointing out different wonders and neat things before eventually taking Kaile back to the Meyer homestead. Though his parents' home was simplistic and rustic Kurt showed no hint of shame at it's lack of grandeur. The Pilot introduced Kaile to his father, his mother having gone to market the day before in order to secure more funds.

Before Kaile could have a chance to rest Kurt took her out in his pod-racer, a trip that saw them visit upon the grand nature of Tatooine and stare in awe at the massive sandstorms that his homeworld could create.

Though the days before were filled with delight and joy, things would not turn out that way in the end. Kaile, perhaps in fear, or perhaps simply for Kurts safety had been keeping a secret. During their time together, and before, she had been acting as an agent for the Galactic Alliance, a spy. Upon Kurt's discovery of this secret Kaile fled, leaving Tatooine in a rushed hurry as she feared for both his safety, and the safety of his parents.

Kurt, not reacting well to losing his friend proceeded to Chase Kaile, taking The Messa into overdrive to retrace her steps and find where she was.

Though he was no detective, Kurt found Kaile rapidly. As it turned out she was an agent working for the SIS, a spy. Knowing this Kurt headed towards Sullust, the homeworld of the Galactic Alliance. There Kurt stormed the headquarters of the SIS, breaking through doors and shouting until he got a meeting with Kaile's manager. It was here that he found out her destination, her mission, and her reason for running. Without hesitation Kurt made a deal, he would ocassionally work for the SIS and in return he would get Kaile back. Within a few moments the Pilot dashed out from Sullust, pushing The Messa as fast as it would go.

As he tore through hyperspace and nearly broke the boundaries of what was possible The Messa began to struggle, its hyperdrive overheated, and in his zealoutry, Kurt caused his ship fall apart. The hyperdrive blew, sending Kurt flying into realspace and nearly killing Kurt in the process. There, he floated, unconscious, freezing, nearly dead. In the abyss he thought of Kaile, he thought of Jamie, and most of all he thought of his will to live. Through struggle Kurt tore himself from the edge of death, motivated by the woman he loved and the girl who became his best friend. The thought of the two women brought Kurt back, his body half broken he managed to fix the ships hyperdrive, pushing The Messa into a limp to eventually find Kaile once more.

The two were reunited once more, with Kurt explaining to Kaile what had happened, what she meant, and what would happen now...
