  • Description: Kuat-Entralla Imperial Shipyards were a large collection of ship-building stations as well as a currently-in-construction ring around the planet of Entralla. Begun over two centuries ago, the project for the construction of a massive planetary ring yard like that of its cousin Kuat was still only halfway completed due to complications such as the Gulag Plague, Mandalorian occupations, and several wars over the last half-century. Despite this, it remains one of the most productive shipyards in the Outer Rim firstly due to the leaders of the Velcar Free Commerce Zone, who kept the peace with their neighbors, and later to the Trade Federation for putting so much of its resources into completing the Ring. With the Mandalorians long gone as an economic force in the Outer Rim, few planets could boast the shipbuilding capabilities of Entralla. In the modern era it served as the primary shipyard for Imperial capital ship designs. Under the management of Alliance Kuati Defectors, many designs once meant to be in Alliance fleets were now steadily being completed for Imperial uses.

POINTS OF INTEREST
Installation 007 - The main hub for the mag train that transported personnel and material from point to point along the magrail line on the main ring of Kuat-Entralla Imperial Shipyards. It was also an important docking station for refueling and refitting Star Destroyers as it was the HQ of sector command.

Installation 012 - A large collection of shipyard ring dockyards. These were under the special projects division and were often used and modified to hold much larger vessels such as dreadnoughts and Super Star Destroyers for the Empire.

SECURITY: Maximum
Positioned at the end of the Entralla Route leading out towards Ord Mantell and the Bright Jewel Sector, as well as being positioned along the Braxant Run, Entralla was an important hub world of the Imperator Sector. As such, it was heavily patrolled by the capital sector fleet as well as its own flotilla of battlecruisers and star destroyers due to its importance as not only a trade hub but as a manufacturing world.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Kuat-Entralla Imperial Shipyards, once just Entralla Shipyards, was one of the largest shipyards in the Outer Rim. However, with giants such as Kuat Proper, Rendili, Corellia, and Fondor it never really measured up. It saw extensive use by the Sith Empire and One Sith during their respective rules but did not become as active and prominent as would become later until the Sith-Imperial Civil War where it was taken in a decisive strike during the Braxant Run Campaign. From there, Entralla became integral to the war machine of the then nascent New Imperial Order. Collaborators in the Trade Federation swooped in on the capture of the prominent Outer Rim world and made significant strides in Entralla's shipbuilding capabilities.

When New Imperial vessels conquered the stars of Bastion Imperial captains praised the speed and ferocity of their new Entrallan-built vessels. From then on Kuat-Entralla Imperial Shipyards would become the main designer and manufacturer of warships for the Empire. The relationship between Kuat-Entralla Shipyards and the Trade Federation would not go noticed however. Extreme scrutiny by both Imperators would hold back the true potential of the shipyard. After the death of Imperator Rurik Fel, internal strife began to rise within the Empire. Focused on keeping his council in line, the Lord Regent of the Empire would lax restrictions on Kuat-Entralla, allowing it to produce vessels faster. However, overwork and the rise of Rebel activity in the Empire would make Kuat-Entalla Imperial Shipyards an enticing target.
