- Power of the Winter: The Perudin utilizes cryogenic freezing technology to create ultra-cold blaster bolts. These blaster bolts, by the nature of their temperature, have the potential to freeze and shatter objects upon impact.
- Scattershot: The Perudin releases a high-volume blast that, while dissipates over any real range, can do extreme damage at close quarters that is amplified by the cryogenic capabilities of the weapon.

The KSTR-26 Perudin, the ancient yet modern evolution of blast cannon technology merged with the power of cryogenic weaponry.
Created through the processes of the Mind Forge, the greatest creation of the Forgemasters of Clan Kyron, the Perudin is designed to release a devastating burst of blaster-cryogenic energy in close-quarters combat situations. It is built with the cryogenic technology found in the rest of the KSTR line of weaponry, and that cold has the potential to freeze and shatter both organic and inorganic components. It has a lightweight frame that allows it to be easily carried and makes it very easily transported or worn on the back or side of a warrior.
Where the blast cannon does fall short is its range. While in close-quarters it can be devastating, any further out than that the weapon's blast will dissipate heavily, quickly making it very ineffective. In addition to that, the Perudin has a high recoil that further reduces accuracy at range, as well as a higher rate-of-consumption for blaster cells. But outside of those flaws, when used in its intended close-quarters, the Perudin's weaknesses are more than made up for.
