The Forgemasters of Clan Kyron were a legendary body of legendary craftsmen hailing from Clan Kyron. The Rhen Var-originated Clan was subject to the constant elements of their home planet, fighting the freezing cold day after day. It wasn't until their first Forgemaster learned to harness Rhen Var's cold in powerful cryogenic weapons that the organization truly began. Clan Kyron soon became feared and respected, until they tried their luck against the neighboring Clan Eldar. Clan Kyron was powerfully vanquished by Eldar, and in the histories of the Mandalorians it is from there that Clan Kyron was disbanded, its remaining members dead or assimilated into friendlier clans.
What the histories did not know is that Clan Kyron survived, led by five existing Forgemasters in exile from Rhen Var to Wild Space. After years of searching, they found a bountiful world they named Kestri and settled down on the planet, one that held all the necessary resources they would need, even Beskar. On Kestri the Forgemasters of Clan Kyron; Elendi, Javarr, Nol'mani, Ullan, and Daraxes, all led their own factions of pupils. They became a Clan of creation and each Forgemaster created a powerful Forge in which their creations and technology were made. As age drew on, the Forgemasters joined together to create their greatest creation: the Mind Forge, a Forge with a mind of itself to carry on the legacy of the five Forgemasters long after they were gone, one that would maintain control over the Forges of each master.
But as soon as the Mind Forge was completed, Kestri was assaulted by an assailant determined to secure the Mind Forge for themselves. Although they were unknown monsters to Clan Kyron, the galaxy millennia later would come to know them as the Yuuzhan Vong, a warrior-race dead to the force and that relied solely on biotechnology. This was an advanced scouting party and a semi-independent extremist group of the Vong, who saw the intelligence of the Mind Forge as something that could enhance their biotechnology to the point that they could arrange a coup and gain control over their species. What followed was extremely intense fighting across Kestri and for a moment, as they battled on the gates of the Mind Forge, it seemed that they would be victorious.
It was then that the Mind Forge took control, using powerful cryogenic technologies unique to Clan Kyron to bring about a sudden ice age for Clan Kestri, freezing the Yuuzhan Vong in deep hibernation. It wiped out what remained of Clan Kyron, but it was a necessary sacrifice, and the now-frozen world and the technology that lied within were kept safe from the Yuuzhan Vong and the galaxy.
RATIONALE
Killed or Frozen thousands of years ago, the Enclave lays claim to Kestri and its treasures as inheritors of Clan Kyron's Mandalorian legacy, and most importantly of all seek to secure the Mind Forge and the relics of the Forgemasters to arm and defend the Enclave itself.
