DESCRIPTION
The lumbering KR-83 Expulser heavy assault droid traces its origins back to the KR-82, whose original fatal flaw of its electronics being vulnerable to airborne viruses have been addressed. However, unlike its original frame, which was largely immobile, the KR-83 can move, albeit about as fast as an average walker of its size. It can also pack a heavy punch with its twin, topside-mounted Slybex electromagnetic plasma cannons, supplemented by two arm-mounted concussion missile launchers to fend off aircraft. It can even, thanks to an enlarged grav-hook, grapple on to magnetic items as a grappling hook, should it be required. It's even equipped with cap drains and a deflector shield. In addition, Hexheim ERA allows it to resist projectile attacks. However, as with all leg-based droids, its joints are exposed.
