DESCRIPTION
Rex created this Astromech Droid for Kei Raxis. He made this to be similar to BT-1 which he had heard about through many historical sources on Darth Vader and the GE. This was built to be compatible with S-EPSO. To make up for the memory loss in the EPSO droids he added so more memory banks to KR-1. KR-1 is still a astromech droid and thus has no armour. However it does have weapons systems and is thus able to kill any threats to it or the S-EPSO. However it has the same Friend or Foe settings as the S-EPSO and will only attack when absolutely necessary. The blaster cannon is able to make 100 shots before the droid goes into critial power and has less than 20 mins before it must be recharged or shutdown. The Flechette launcher has the capacity for 10 shots before it is empty. To refill it again you must remove the chassis from the droid, and place the ammunition within the droid's flechette launcher as well as the pouch that it loads it from. The flechette launcher is anti-personnel only. The flechette launcher is stored internally and the fusion cutter was sadly removed. The number of shots is lessened depending on the amount of energy used by the droid, so at full charge it is the normal 100 shots, less so if the droid has been active for several hours without being charged.

skin, bone, and arrogance
Hi [member="Rex Taff"]! What an interesting droid! I did have a few points of clarification before we can proceed:

  • Please enter "No" for modularity, per the template instructions.
  • Please include the blaster cannon and flecette launcher under "Armaments" in the "Technical Information" section. If these are specific items, please be sure to link to the Wookieepedia article or Chaos factory submissions. Any strengths/weaknesses from these weapons should be included in the strengths/weaknesses of this submission, as applicable.
  • I'd like to see some discussion in the description section of the capacity the droid has for firing its weapons, for example: How many shots can the blaster cannon fire before the power is depleted? How much ammunition does the flecette weapon carry? How are these weapons recharged or reloaded, respectively?
Please tag me when you're ready for me to review :)

Okay so I fixed the modularity to no. I have put the weapons within there sections and have linked the wiki articles for them.
In the description I have added how each ammunition each weapon has along with how to reload them and some more on how the blaster cannon drains the droids power cells.

[member="Rex Taff"] - Thanks. I have a couple of more questions based on your response:

  • In the article you linked for the flechette launcher, it states that the weapon can fire anti-personnel and anti-vehicle projectile. I have some concerns about turning this unassuming-looking astromech turned into a miniaturized anti-vehicle turret, and it seems like form your description the droid wouldn't be deployed against vehicles anyway. Can you please specify whether this understanding is correct and, if so, make that clear in the description section?
  • Also, can you please specify whether the flechette launcher weapon is stored internally or externally and what that would entail (i.e. has something been removed internally to allow storage? if they are stored externally, are they vulnerable to being detonated, lost, etc.?
  • If the blaster cannon can fire 100 shots, and it is powered by the same source as the rest of the droid, that implies that the number of shots the droid can fire will be dependent upon the power usage of the other systems - is that correct? If so, I think that would deserve a quick mention in your description. Additionally if it is powered separately, similarly to the bullet point above, I think it should be described as well.
It's looking pretty good! Thanks!

Yes it is anti personnel only. It wouldn't usually be used against vehicles and thus would not be equipped to deal with such. It is internal so I lost the fusion cutter from the droid. As for the power cell for the blaster cannon and the droid are the same and it has now been mentioned in the description.
Thank you for helping me clarify these things.
